IC RULEBOOK

rulebook
THE SCROLL
Among their belongings, each participant will find a papyrus scroll. When unfurled, they will find that it is written in gold-flecked ink, in immaculate handwriting. It lists twelve guidelines for participants - these are not hard rules, but suggestions. In a separate section, it lists a small amount of actual rules that must be followed.

At times, the participants may find that there are alterations to the rules. When this happens, each of them will be seized with an urge to unfurl the scroll and verify that their understanding of the rules is correct, and this urge will not vanish until they do so. OOCly, we will announce on Plurk and on Discord when the rules have been altered.

The consequences of breaking the defined rules are not yet known to the characters - but rest assured, there will be consequences. The exact severity of them will vary depending on just how deliberately the rules were flouted, and which god was most offended by the rule-breaking.

Should your character break a rule, please reply to this post with which rule was broken and when. All comments will be screened.
