I fear that these acts of violence are in part caused by feelings of desperation. That's not the sort of sentiment that should be present for any of you...it only breeds a contentious environment. I need to be more thorough in reaching out to anyone who seems to be suffering more acutely.
I don't know. I want to believe it's possible, but the heart of anyone, mortal or immortal, can be unpredictable. Talking to others has always been something I'm good at, but...getting people to listen in the first place, that's what can be a challenge.

I do believe that anyone can overcome past actions, so long as they have the will to.

I do think a lot of people can change, but I don't think everyone can. There are some people who are irredeemable. I don't know if that applies to anyone here—I hope it doesn't—but I know of one person.
I understand what you're saying. I suppose, to the short span of my mortal life and the way I am now, it's hard for me to write off anyone as irredeemable. But it is true. No matter how much I want to believe in otherwise, I've known that like, as well.

But, still, at least as far as all of you go, and all of the other gods, as well...for now, I must continue to hold my faith.

Not that I'm so foolish as to think that staying silent and believing in the best will help me win. Only action can accomplish that.
I guess you could call me that. Mostly, I plan on making alliances with other gods--especially the ones that are harder to be reasoned with. If I can get my foot in the door with them, the possibility for peace becomes much, much greater.
