[ She laughs softly, and she turns so her back is facing Love and clasps her hands together. It's her usual pose that she falls back into while being pensive or idling. ]

I took your hand on Saturday. You don't know, but that was a hard, conscious decision. Even though I felt the way I did, I wouldn't take someone's hand like that unless I meant it. I promised Satsuki-chan I'd hold her hand forever.

[ Nonon may have picked Love to follow at first for different reasons, but her holding someone's hand in that way is a pledge of loyalty. ]

[She considers that for a few moments. She had received the sense that it was a big and important thing for her even if she didn't know the reasons why. She understood that Nonon didn't immediately trust, so to hear this now...]

It was a really rotten move. Every time someone goes after one of you guys for anything, it makes me so mad that I can't do anything. But even so, you guys fight to stay. I want to be the best for you all...we're here together. So I never want to give any of you a reason to doubt me, or each other.

...Yu-Senpai is a little like you that way. It takes time for him to extend his hand, too, but when he does it's worth it.

All of us want to fight for love. [ Otherwise, they wouldn't be with Love. ] It's a little funny that I do think we trust each other on some level.

[ She knows it's different for each of them. ]

... I don't know how I feel about being compared to a bowl cut like that.

[ She sounds more amused than anything, though. ]

It was one of the things I wanted Ray to work on. It's funny because he and Zoe were friends, and you and Senpai had a good relationship...and Sieg-kun was the outlier. It worked out that you ended up getting to know each other. I hope even when you're split up you keep talking to each other.

It's a compliment, Nonon-san, I promise. [A laugh.] When he's not being so...reckless, he's really sweet and really smart and loyal.

Most of them are fine. I don't really mind any of them.

[ That's her saying sure, she'll talk to them.

She makes a face. ]

I like reckless and smart, not reckless and dumb. [ She sighs. ] He doesn't really hide those sides of him either. He gallivants to help as many people as he can.

[ The implication of her tone is you won't catch her doing that. ]

He's not great at hiding things, no. [She frowns a little in thought.] Is it such a bad thing to try and help people like that, you think?

No. I'm just not that kind of person.

[ Her love is expansive, but her heart is small. ]

I don't think that's so bad either. As long as you guys work together, you make up for each other's strengths and weaknesses.

[ She sighs. She doesn't sound resigned so much as... knowing. ]

That's how a team works.

[ It's just a matter of how good of a team they'll be. ]

Just keep reminding the others if they ever forget. Can I count on you for that?

[Do her a solid, Nonon, it's because she thinks she'd like bossing them around a bit...]

[ She likes being bossy, but she doesn't like being sappy on main... unless it's for Satsuki.

Sorry. She makes a face. ]

[ That's a maybe. ]

Pleeeeeease? [There's even a pout? As she pets the cat. Don't let her down!!!]

[ She scrunches her face up even more. ]

I'm still surprised Ludger-san agreed to this. [Chinscratches for Rollo.]

He seemed pretty easygoing about it.

[ She shrugs. ]

I think he expects Rollo to leave on his own sooner or later because cats always do what they want.

That sounds about right. My grandma's cat used to do the same thing, but all of the cats lingering around Senpai's house and the riverbank stayed for a long time. Maybe if we bribe him he'll stay longer.

He'll come back if we spoil him, for sure.

[ Nonon's confident. ]

What does he like best anyway? We've never really met.

Honestly... I think he'd eat anything, but I've been keeping to feeding him things I know won't poison a cat.

Probably for the best. Maybe he'd like some toys, too. I could probably create some for him.

He'd definitely stay with toys and food. He seems like a wise emperor cat.

Reminds me of someone else I know...here, take Rollo for a sec? [She hands off the cat, and it takes a few moments but she soon uses her godly powers to charm up a wind-up mouse for him to chase.]

[ Nonon happily takes the cat and holds him tight until the new toy has him jumping out of her arms.

She laughs, as she watches Rollo pounce. ]

I wonder who that someone is.

It'll be our secret. [She's laughing as she watches Rollo though.]

...with everything happening, sometimes it's nice to just have something normal for once. Even if it's just a cute cat.

Yeah, that's why I asked to borrow Rollo for a while. Even gods need time to be normal.
