I've been a ruler. I know how these things work. I know everyone thinks I'm some joke. They like to blow off everything I know about running kingdoms. But here's the real truth of the matter: I, without council, kept one going my entire life.
Yeah. Born king, raised king. So, sure, there were people looking after things while I was still learning to walk, but responsibility was thrown into my lap the second I was old enough to understand what it meant. My life's been one big party, but it's also been one big political tightrope walk.
[He moves until he's all but lounging on top of the table.]
I like dancing, I like eating good food, I like being spoiled and spoiling others. Doesn't mean I don't do my due diligence, keep things floating, listen to the complaints of the people. I hold public audiences, make sure problems are being addressed.
You wound me! Of course it was genuine! I was, and am, a benevolent, kind, and generous ruler that only asks to be worshiped in return for my endless days of devotion to my people!
