[Love is in the studio today, flittering about and setting up a nice space...on the floor. Yeah. That's happening, there are a few pillows to sit on and also what looks like two milkshakes and Luke's letter in the center. When he enters the studio, he'll find that the goddess immediately sits up and gestures for him to come closer.]
Luke-kun, hey! [She bows her head in apology.] I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, but with everything...I wanted both of us to hopefully be in a little bit of a better place. [She gestures to the milkshakes, too.] I know it's not much, but I'm hoping to make it up to you?
Milkshake! Have you never had one before? [Somehow she doesn't sound perturbed by that, just letting him join her and waiting patiently.] They're pretty good.
I'm not going to be offended if you don't like it. Would you like something else? Bubble tea? Oh but that has boba so you might not like it...smoothies are just fruit. Maybe something like that?
Well... thanks! It's really nice of you. And don't worry too much about the time, I know you guys've been really busy. I just wanted to talk, so it's not like I'm exactly important.
You're here, that makes you just as important as anybody else. Besides...it's always nice to get to talk to you guys. I think it helps to know that we can. This situation sucks, but...we want to be as approachable as possible, too.
Is this really different than what you're used to?
Huh? You don't know what artes are? [What are gods even]
Artes are like... a set of moves combined into a combat skill. It can be with a weapon, or with fonons—all of mine are just weapon stuff, though.
And Albert-style is just how I fight! I only really know about Albert and Sigmund, but Guy says my style is slower, but stronger. ...Does that make sense?
We never fought with artes in my world. We had something different. [But she's nodding along. It sounds sound that complicated, but what a funny name.] It makes total sense though. I've never learned how to fight with a sword or anything, but almost all of my friends have their own weapons and skills, too.
Sometimes I think power is more important than speed when it comes to defending yourself anyway. Could you ever learn another style if you wanted?
Really? What do you guys have? [combat stuff! he can talk combat stuff.] Can you fight?
[He perks up at the indirect praise, brightening at the mention of power versus speed. Eat it, Gailardia.] I think so, too! As for another style... hmmm. Maybe—I kind of know little pieces of another one already, but I don't really know if I'd want to. For now, I just want to get better at what I've already got, you know?
We have...well. It's a little weird to explain because they're kind of a part of us, but kind of not? They're sort of like spirits that we can channel and use for physical and magical attacks. Most of us only have one, but a friend of mine...he has a lot of them. He's the only one who can control multiples. It's really impressive because they have weapons and stuff, too, so they work together with their spirits to take out our enemies. But mine's mostly support...I don't know why that is, but I help out where I can even if I can't fight the same way.
[Which is a bummer but what can you do.] I don't think it's wrong to own a craft and get better and better with it. There's always something to learn anyway. I can't think of any fighter who knows everything there is to know.
Yeah! Yeah, I guess you could say that. My abilities allow me to heal my friends in battle and guide them to where they're supposed to go. Some of the others have healing abilities, too, but...we could use all the help we could get.
I think as long as people want to keep learning there's always going to be someone or something to teach them. If this place has taught me anything? It's that.
WEEK 6, THURSDAY /screams with the force of 200000 velociraptors

N-Not... I mean... I guess... maybe it's an acquired taste?
[He takes another sip, looking the world like someone being lowkey tortured.]
It's sweet, though! That's something!

Uh, sure. Fruit's fine. Apples?
no subject
[Despite the fact it's a smoothie, if he drinks it he won't be able to taste any of the dairy used.]
no subject
Can any of the gods just do that?
[he picks it up, and sips.]
Oh, hey, this isn't bad!

...But it's not like I was playing for wishes or anything back home.
no subject
You were playing for something else though? Stressed and complicated really doesn't sound so great.

[HMMM,]
...How much do you know about me? [Where to start?]

...My favorite color is red, and I really like chicken... apples, too.
I fight in the Albert-style of sword artes?
no subject
What does the Albert-style even mean? And what're artes?

Right! If you think you already mastered your own abilities, then you still have more to learn... or something like that!
