Only amateurs let themselves get rusty. Every fan in the audience is someone you'll be letting down if you aren't doing your best.

I get that. [Like. That definitely makes sense.] It's just kind of impressive you're still so dedicated even with all of these distractions. I think that's great.

Wouldn't it be? A lot of these people... Even if we're competing, I understand them, I think.

Would you say you've been making friends at least then?

I think so. I know it's probably not what you all want to hear in a game about backstabbing and death and all that, but we've heard there are different ways to win from the beginning.

Wait what? [Love's surprised by that, actually.] Why wouldn't I want to hear something like that? I've been trying to get people to make friends with each other for weeks!

I'm just finding you never really know in this place. That's good to hear, though.

It's been getting soooo frustrating trying to get people to talk to each other just because they're not here to make friends. I don't get what's so hard about making allies and having people to vouch for you and support you.

Let me guess, you talked to Uchiha-san. He said that same line about not being here to make friends. It was like he was on one of those reality shows to win 100 million yen.

What? Oh, no, I've never even talked to him. There's just multiple people like that which is the scarier part.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. He's not the social type.

...what do you really know about him? His brother--well, you know he was aligned with me, but we never really spoke either.

I thought they were alike, so I haven't talked to him much, either. I don't have a high opinion of Uchiha. The younger one, though... I don't know if Uchiha-san thinks we all just have to prove ourselves or what.

Maybe he's just not socialized? I've never dealt with ninjas or anything, but he sort of reminds me of somebody I know. Maybe a little angrier, but they're both reckless. [A shrug.]

I still want you guys to have friends here though. So...someone's bound to tolerate him eventually.

Maybe. At least he's working on winning sometimes instead of just being stuck-up 24/7.

It could definitely be worse. [A shrug.] And the bright side is this game's half over. There's still time to turn things around.

I'll do what I can. I'm an idol, after all, so I'm here to make people smile and give them dreams. And I have my own dreams, too, just like all of you.

I'm glad to hear it. Just make sure to hold onto those dreams as long as you can. I think it's important to be able to share them with others.

Of course I do! But it's been like that all my life, you know? I worked hard in the old life and I'll work hard in this life, too. It's why I plan on winning.
