[ entrapta's also going to do that wrist touch thing on cunning if he lets her!!!! ]
Most likely not. With Catra, I have been able to make huge strides in my research... Horde technology gives me so much to work with. She's found me First Ones' tech, and the Black Garnet.... and she has also been abandoned, like us. She and Scorpia.... they are good friends.
... But I don't understand how people here can just blindly trust people just because are nice and say they want to do good. Despite Catra's personality... she has ultimately treated me with more kindness than any of the princesses with lofty ideals.
[Like. That's weird, but he'll allow it, sure? Entrapta what.]
Good that you have them then. [He can admit that much, even though that's still a shitty thing to happen.]
A lot can be said about people who talk about ideals but don't actually act on them. A lot of you have been talking to each other, so it can feel like you have to listen to someone else's opinion just because they've all had positive experiences with them. But when people are grasping straws and lost on what to do? Anything sounds better than nothing at all. It's probably why people jump on whatever the majority agrees with, even if it's not right.
... Yes. I hope your new people are like them. I like Catra and Scorpia very much.
[ she just listens and nods along, damn this murderfam is so salty. ]
I have noticed this, especially in situations of high pressure such as this one... They latch onto things without any sort of logic. If not for Indulgence, I would have likely been executed..... despite the fact that they did not solve anything in the murder.
[There's a shrug because he's not really going to talk about his new people right now.] Catra's been pretty good to you from what I can tell, so at least it's a mutual thing.
[But there's a sigh.] It's baseless guessing at the end of the day and is that really a victory worth having? If they're going to be in trial for nine hours, you'd think they'd use their heads to try and puzzle stuff out instead of just going at it without a clear idea. They aren't looking at everything they have and keep fixating on certain things. It's a bad plan.
Oh, yes. I've made so many strides in my research since then! Thanks to Catra, not only have I gotten my hands on more First Ones' tech than I ever had before, she got me access to a Runestone!
[ she cackles a little maniacally. ] My last experiment was a huge success!
[ anyway. ]
You are correct, Cunning. I don't always use my full intellect because, obviously, I was a killer, but their behavior is illogical. Volunteering themselves to be voted for? Running in circles and getting distracted? Proclaiming other gods' innocence based on their own personal biases? It is no wonder they barely get anything done.
I'd ask about your research but I'm gonna guess I won't get it, but I can still be kinda impressed you're making the most of it.
You can't stop people from having personal biases but the rest? It's kind of painful to watch because you know that voting for the wrong person isn't going to do anything, getting distracted just means you can't focus on what's important and if you can't do that can we really trust you guys to help us with why we brought you here?
It's the same thing I've been saying since the beginning. If people want respect, they have to earn it. That goes for us, too.
Well, it has to do with ancient but incredibly advanced technology.... with Catra's help, I was able to hack the planet.... the elements went completely out of balance, it was quite a sight to behold.
[ laughing maniacally!!!!! it's fine. ]
Is there more to it than just deciding who to be the leader? I would like to help you. I do not think the system you've all set is is particularly efficient, though.
No one has ever said that to me! [ it makes her cackle with more delight. ]
Rather than all fighting to rule one planet, you could all split up and rule parts of it. If you reach an impasse, outside opinions could be used to decide --- similar to this competition, with how the participants have been forming bonds with gods and influencing them, perhaps the people you rule over could assist you in making the big decisions. But I think you gods should play to your strengths.
Well in a way, that's sort of what we're aiming for. But even if we're all ruling separate parts, we need a head to have the final say and to delegate where we're going and what we're doing. As far as I know the world's been destroyed so we don't have people yet, but it's a thought all the same.
Some of us are trying to play to our strengths and we're getting shot down. Kind of a pain in the ass.
All of us ascended around the same time and became a new pantheon. We started to argue about who was leading us, tried to create a world on top of each other, and…well, it's gone now. There's a reason you can't get past the clouds.
But yeah. The other gods. Some of us have methods the others don't approve of not even counting murderous intent, so trying to find compromises and workarounds has been exhausting.
Yup. With a name like mine people are freaked out or something. It gets old.
[...] I've talked to about half of those people, and I guess it wasn't terrible. Decent selection. [Sipp you joke but Hiro would have gone to Cunning if I wasn't playing the npc tbh.]

If you had to come up with something more efficient then, what would you choose? Lay it on me.

There are some reasonable people here. They may be able to help, as followers.

Yeah? Who do you consider reasonable? I haven't talked to a lot of you, surprisingly.

Taka, Madoka, Catra, Ludger, Shang..... Connor.... Luke is emotional but his judgment is overall good. Hiro.
