and then he just. takes a moment to just pray that his god is out there somewhere..... to like....... make sure that when takaomi gets cursed, that it'll be a less worse curse than whatever the fuck sasuke is going to get hit with. and then he scurries from out under the bed and does his best not to DIE ]
[A lot is happening very quickly. Regina gets off the bed just in time for Ambition to douse the fire, and as smoke plumes through the room, a giant fucking spider crawls out from under the bed, only it's not a spider, it's sasuke fucking uchiha and he's got a knife to her throat.
Without properly seeing what exactly is happening, who the fuck it is, what the fuck, like any proper modern-day girl with a lot of anger issues, her immediate reaction is to stomp on one of his feet, smash her elbow into his gut, and slam her head backward into his.
Knife to her throat? Whumst? Can't be afraid when you don't hesitate! At some point during all of this madness, her mask returns to her face, and if her reaction managed to stun Sasuke enough, she stumbles away from him.

Regina escapes as he jerks his hand to his face, but Ambition tackles him when he isn't prepared. The dagger goes flying, the bra stays sadly attached, and he bowls over to the ground.

Once he's more grounded, literally, he's better. Once the lights are out, a heavy focus settled on him. He is still a ninja even without ninjutsu. Ambition gets manhandled. A well-placed knee and two well-placed hands, the strikes solid and along the ridge of kneecap and hand edge.
He tosses her off and wastes no time throwing himself to his feet in a run. He trips over something on the floor, staggers, rolls right into Regina and shoves her toward the bed so he can keep going.
With his hands out, he slams into the wall by the door roughly, knocking some of the wind out of him, but he scrambles to the side into Takaomi and then they probably try to kill each other getting out the door and up the stairs together.
They're definitely holding hands this time right.]
but also listening to sasuke attack the two without being able to see what was happening was the actual literal worst, because takaomi was instead imagining that it was him being beaten up by two angry girls and their very tall boyfriend. they're poly or something he doesn't know and doesn't want to think about it
he's mostly hoping they don't figure out where the light is, or that it turns out they have super speed or
literally anything. he would not be surprised if a bear just showed up right now with how bad this has been going????
[Luckily for them, although the sounds of commotion and the chattering of two very angry young women continues behind them, it fades as they run toward and up the stairs. Clearly, they're too caught up in the fallout of what just happened to go chasing after them. When they make it to the top, the hidden door swings shut behind them, fading underneath the guise of the arena once more.
The only thing they truly lost today was their dignity.]
