Good call. Outsourcing everything...I'm impressed. [There's a nod though as he assesses that.]
The west wing's not a bad idea for two of you since there's a bigger area to cover. That'd put Ray in the east and around the temple then? [Hm...] Maybe pick a place that's close enough if any of you get injured again. Scout this week, find locations in the wings themselves that'll be hidden out of the way just in case.
Sounds good to me. In that case, give me the jar, Takaomi. In case it ends up being necessary, we can't afford to set the west wing on fire when people will likely be sleeping there.
If I'm taking the temple, I was thinking about a vantage point on one of the upper hallways. That way, I can keep an eye on the courtyard and, to an extent, the lower hallways to catch anyone who might be walking around.
That should work-- and going along with what you said, [he glances to their god friend there--] we can designate specific places besides our primary meeting spot. If Ray is staying in the temple, our meeting point should likely be just within the west wing; decide where your vantage point will be and we'll choose rooms along the way as well as locations within that wing itself as secondary points, if any of us cannot go that far.
We'll also still need to work out some form of shorthand for the scrolls, and should number those locations when we do.
The balconies should give you plenty of reach to oversee the area. [That's to Ray because it's also a good idea. Also yeah, let's not set the west wing on fire. There's a nod of agreement to Ishikirimaru's thoughts, and while he's about to say something to that, Takaomi says something more important and he frowns.]
...I don't think so, no. Not without a favor done in exchange. Now, if you did something before Thursday and just so happened to cash in on it that night, I don't think Indulgence can do anything about it. But then it's about what sort of favor you could seal.
[he'll leave takaomi to figure out favours to merriment, so—]
If it's a room in the temple... I'll write a number to indicate the floor, and then a dot: one to indicate the northern room, two dots for the eastern, three for the southern, and four for the western. None means it's on the floor itself. "E" for the east wing, and "W" for the west wing... though we might want to come up with further codes for areas within the west wing itself.
And if we're being attacked—well, get some kind of scribble down, first and foremost. A specific hint would be good if we can manage it, but it'll probably be difficult.
We'll do what we can for you this week. Hopefully, that will leave you a little more free to act-- just let us know how we can help.
[like, he'd do favors anyway, but it's best to make sure things get squared away.]
And I think that will work as a sign of attack. It will not look like any particular symbol we may work out, and we can designate one to mean there is no longer danger, as well.
As long as you can keep your own cipher straight that should be fine. Those scrolls can be read by anybody or just you? [He's aware it's an item someone else gave out, but he's lost on the other details.]
...thing is, Indulgence didn't actually say what kind of favor has to be done in order to do another favor. I could, let's say, ask you guys to reorganize the game room for me and that'd probably count. [Is he cheating? Maybe, but whatever.]
Call it even then. You reorganize and clean the room for me, and you make sure to follow Love's rule so she doesn't freak out, and those are my favors.
[...lifting his eyebrows though.] I thought you left the gun behind.
So he gave you a bomb, and he gave you a gun. [He's just burying his face in his hand, dragging it over his face.] Alright. Fine. I'll talk to him later.
...are Senri and Sasuke staying together again on Thursday? Anybody know?
[But uh. Nono. Noooo nono.] You are not fighting him right now. Wait until you get your hand back. I don't know if he'd fight fair without it. [It's a weird thing to consider.]
Getting started on the favor isn't the worst idea.

[ there's a pause, and then he looks at merriment too. ]
... you wouldn't be able to do what you did last week because of the rule, would you?

Maybe an X, or something, if we're being attacked?

[he lets out a scoff.]
Of course Indulgence wouldn't think those details through.
no subject
[but also, that is. a very good point, and he laughs slightly, shaking his head.]
Have us do a few things like that for you, then. You're right- there's nothing saying it must be an even exchange.
no subject
[ it's more even than everything else merriment's done. ]
... oh. Ray. You can make bullets, right? Could you make some for me? [ ... ] Although I guess I have to do something in exchange.

[...lifting his eyebrows though.] I thought you left the gun behind.
no subject
Sure. In return, you can do damage control for if Senri finds out.
no subject
[but he's raising an eyebrow at ray--]
If there's something you two intend to keep from Nito-kun, you should most likely let me know why.
no subject
[ it's his number one skill..... rabbit whisperer ]
Cunning gave it back to me.

[and to merriment, casually:]
I may be at a disadvantage now, but I will still fight him again if you would like me to.

but at what ishi asks, ]
Fight who?
[ he can't mean cunning right. with uno hand. ]

[as you do...]
That was not entirely serious.
[would part of him still make an effort to beat him on merriment's behalf, though? sure.]
no subject
[ he does it too but like
he shakes his head. ]
Is there anything else we should bring up?
no subject
[This is to Ray who for all intents and purposes is the newcomer here.]

I'm good for now.
