[He gives Takaomi a Look which eventually softens into preparedness.] You know him better than I do. Where do we start? [He's READY but also--there's a lot in here.]
[Well. The room has a lot going on here. They've both been here often enough to notice the couches and beanbag chairs and the like scattered around. The shelves look a little more organized, games back in their boxes and lined up. The game consoles are on the floor and also in the television cabinet, and there are tables set up with games of chess and checkers. There's also a table with a few legos set up.
The curtains are open and the billiard table sits at one end of the room. The billiard balls are in the triangular rack and the cues are in their own rack sorted by length.
It's a little messy and well-used, but nothing out of the ordinary really stands out just yet. Where first, guys?]
[ he doesn't really think there will be something there, but it's better to be thorough than not. taka, meanwhile wanders over to consoles to poke around. ]
... what do you normally do when you meet with him here?
[FinE. Sasuke moves over to start checking around and under chairs, but also along the shelves, sliding game boxes out and back in. A few of them he takes the time to look over the case like ???? before putting them back.]
I've only met him once here. [He nods at the billiard table.] We played a game.
[Taka will find that the consoles are mostly organized, but one of them is a little warm like someone was just recently using it. There's a lot of games in their boxes and in stacks that should maybe be organized later. As he looks at the controllers though he'll notice that at least two of them have little blue dots on the up direction of the D-pad, almost totally missable.
Sasuke, for his trouble, will find that the chairs seem to be pretty normal as well even though some are well-worn. The shelves have been dusted and the game boxes themselves are normal. One one of the middle shelves, directly across from the billiard table, he'll also find this game and a game called Dead of Winter.]
[ he'll take the controller with him as he walks over to the billiards table though. he frowns at the balls considering they were uh, involved in murder. ]
[Sasuke takes the two games and moves over to the billiard table with Takaomi. He hands both games over so Takaomi can look at them.] We can play them maybe. [But Sasuke will check over the billiard table first? The pockets, shifting the triangle of billiard balls.]
[The games are on the table now and with both of them standing there they can assess them. As Sasuke looks around at the pockets and such he'll notice that all of the balls seem to have their numbers facing upward. He'll also notice that the cue ball is centered in a very specific place on the table.
Maybe there's something they should consider. Aside from the dots on the controllers, the up buttons seem a little cold to the touch, too. ]
Sasuke peers at the balls, at the games, at Takaomi, and then down at the controller.] "Up"? They're blue. [But fine. He'll go get a cue stick so he can line up and break the triangle of balls? He'll do it in the direction of wherever the cue ball is positioned.
He'll... watch for the #2 ball?? It's blue...] Two... There's two of us also. Two players?
[The balls scatter, but the cue ball seems to stop short despite the amount of force applied, directly in the center of the table.
Taka pressing up on the controller also presents a faint jingle bell sound above them. Up is maybe a good place to look, because if they look up from where the cue ball is they'll see a larger blue dot in the middle of the ceiling.]
[There are no blue dots, though if Sasuke feels around the table he'll find there are some small, barely there indents in the felt that seem to circle around the cue ball. There are like five of them.
Taka, meanwhile, if he squints, will see that there are very faint lines in the ceiling that seem to indicate a trap door is up there.]
But anyway, so there's the trap door, and yeah, balls 1-5 actually stick! That's neat, there's now a little circle. If they look even closer at the table they can also see some thin, worn lines in the felt veering off into five directions, sort of like a star.
Maybe they should move the game boxes out of the way?]
Say that only after we've found out there's no more bras.
[When the boxes are out of the wall, so long as the balls don't move on their own???? Sasuke will reach out and try to... pull them... down the line like he's pulling a switch??]
[ well. time for them to never tell anyone how long it took for them to get the door to appear.
takaomi is just going to climb onto the table before going to start moving up the ladder. normally he would make sasuke go first but he trusts merriment to not kill him, so. ]

also known as, takaomi and sasuke are walking into the game room together when no one is around. he looks over at sasuke, and just gestures. ]
Let's not fuck this up.

Should we... try it again...?

Another one? [Hm.] Three? [Sasuke is going to... feel around in the center of the table and also look under the table?? BLUE DOT???]
There are fifteen balls.
[He peers back at Taka briefly.]
Fifteen dots?

I found the door.
[ and then he looks to see what sasuke may have found. ]

Sasuke is going to start trying to put the balls in order around the cue ball, it's fine. 1-2-3-4-5 first? To see if they'll stick like the cue ball.]
Five of something goes around the white one.

It was a lot easier when all we had to do was stab dumies.

There are snowflakes on the boxes. Lots and lots of snowflakes, including one in the picture under both of Taka's hands.
The five balls and the cue ball stay where they are.]
no subject
[ i just want to give anna the credit here because she is the one who figured it out, i am just the one who came up next in the tag order
but taka will try to make a pentagram snowflake. ]
no subject
no subject
Just kidding. The snowflake is made and the trap door creaks open. A ladder descends from inside, the bottom resting on the billiard table itself.
Going up? This absolutely isn't a tag just so I can get home what are you talking about.]
no subject
takaomi is just going to climb onto the table before going to start moving up the ladder. normally he would make sasuke go first but he trusts merriment to not kill him, so. ]
That was easy.
