I just wanna know if how you imagine me is what you want.
[Her laugh is a bit more sultry this time as she brushes one of her legs against his.]
Hey, before we get too carried away...can I ask you a question? This is just something I'm wondering, and I don't want anyone else to get the wrong idea...they might think I sound insecure.
Really, you mean that? Oh, Chuuya, you're such a gentleman!
[Even if he phrased it kind of crudely, she gets the sentiment.]
Just, what you said about the tokens and how you'd be mad--you'd be mad because I'd have been lying, not because of me, right? I guess what I'm asking is...if, from the very beginning, I was ever in the lineup with everyone else, would you ever have thought to choose me? Or...would it have always been Sincerity?
[Chuuya has to think about it, and maybe that's not a good sign, but.]
I'm not a patient person. So there's no way I could be a good follower for you. I don't know how other people decided, but I couldn't choose you for pretty much the same reason I couldn't choose, say, Piety.
But I'm pretty sure there's others who'd be on your team. You're just as good as any other god.
I guess you could say I lacked the foresight. In any case, I won't be needing them now. From this distance, I can see you just fine.
[Patience takes off her glasses, and putting them off to the side of the bed, skips the preamble. One of her hands cups his cheek, and she leans in to give him a kiss that doesn't lack an ounce of warmth.]
[Patience only breaks the kiss to laugh breathlessly as he takes off his hat, kissing him only more insistently as they carry on. She can't help her lips from smiling, wrapping her arms around his back.

Would you say that that's your ideal type?

[Chuuya sits down next to her, leaning against her side.]
Besides, obviously you never tell a woman she'd me more attractive if she changed this or that.

[The question gets Chuuya to pause.]
Sure, what is it?

[It's a little hard being so under suspicion for so long. Patience pulls off her mask, shaking her long hair out of her hood, and gives him a smile.]
It's nice to finally trust someone enough to take this off. You can imagine how uncomfortable it is to wear glasses underneath a mask.
screams in smt
I'd have switched to contacts, personally. But they do look great on you.
[zero disappointment here]

But anyway yeah so that happens. Is happening. Happened.
And when they're all finished she reaches over him to where she presumably moved her glasses to the nightstand and fits them back on her nose.]
How're you feeling?

[He curls up against her side, hiding a smile against her skin.]
no subject
[She smiles as she runs a hand through his hair.]
But...me too. I don't think I can really say that I've felt so peaceful since...well, it's been awhile, with everything that's been going on.

[Chuuya waves his hand in a vague and meaningless gesture.]
no subject
[Which is difficult on the people who have nothing but death to go back to.]
And the world is going to be very different depending on who ends up in charge. It's hard not to be stressed.

[sorry not sorry disorder]
If people don't get their wish... at least they aren't worse off than they started. Not much comfort, I know.
no subject
[Not that she seems to be judging as much as simply observing.]
It'll be different from person to person, I'm sure, depending on what everyone wants.
no subject
[He's not ashamed of it, so it's good she isn't judging.]
...I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm grateful just to have had the chance to try.
no subject
[Smiling, she kisses his cheek.]
I'm glad you did, too. A chance like this is something everyone deserves...but unfortunately so few receive.
no subject
[He presses a kiss to the waves of her hair.]
Thank you, for everything.

[She laughs.]
Go easy on me, okay?
