i'm gonna be real my favorite thing is that senri's supposed to be the liar but my god sqh did a fucking amazing job of pulling off a long con that senri is still too immature to do. LIKE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SENRI'S IMPRESSION OF HIM, IT'S JUST IRONIC AND SENRI WOULD BE REALLY IMPRESSED BECAUSE IF SENRI ACTED FOR 9 HOURS FOR A TRIAL THEN BRICK ACTED FOR 7 WEEKS AND THAT'S IMPRESSIVE.

Senri likes Brick. HAHA. He bought the entire impression, completely and totally, and - the thing is that they never felt that close? That was the one thing that caught Senri by surprised - because regardless of what was happening in the competition, even though people were dying, Brick never appeared distraught. I think that's the only thing that made Senri think 'does he not have any close bonds here?' because meanwhile Senri was getting more and more fucked up every single week. He thought it was interesting that Brick could handle such a stressful situation, and somehow still manage to just be put together enough to make food and everything each week and look after him.

He appreciated the listening ear, but he also felt bad for sort of intruding on Brick's emotions - and he actually tried in the last week to see if he could get Brick to open up to him, but that sort of fell flat. But the fact of the matter is that Senri liked Brick by default, because Brick never offended him? Brick seemed like a guy who was mostly minding his own business that kind of really needed a friend, to be honest. So Senri tried to teach him stuff about the modern world and whatnot, thinking that maybe it could bridge the gap between them a little bit. It was a pretty amiable relationship and that was enough for Senri to go 'I don't think you're a bad person' and wanted Brick's wish to get granted.

which is ironic because Senri was in various stages of dislike toward all the other Ambitions. Brick did well in ingratiating himself to Senri because it meant that he could encourage people that Brick was on 'his side' even amidst the rest of Ambition's followers, LMAO.

It really kills me that he was something of an exception as one of Ambition's. You know what else kills me? That open invitation to talk about feelings that could have potentially drawn them close(r), only for him to decide that he will NOT. I hate this guy. He robbed me of a good thing.

chuuya cracked senri up oh my god - THE TRUTH IS THAT SENRI WAS PRETTY LUKEWARM ON HIM because chuuya teased him in a way that he didn't like and senri initially found him pretty irritating sldkfjsdf

but then chuuya was. fucking hysterical and told senri everything that he wanted to know re: his alignment and information on disorder. i think chuuya immediately saved himself because he said he wanted to switch to sincerity, and since senri was you know. with sincerity at the time, senri was like 'actually i can learn to like this guy'. he thought that chuuya was incredibly reckless with how he handled disorder, and therefore assumed that that kind of volatile person was someone that he didn't really want to trust with information? hence the reason why senri pretended to interested in going to karaoke with chuuya and sincerity without actually intending to do it, because even though they were on the same team, he had no intention of letting chuuya learn his actual alignment LMFAO

but trusting and liking someone are very different things for senri - so he definitely liked chuuya. he liked him more after he found out that he was going to set up makeshift gravemarkers for the people who had passed, and that definitely earned him points. he decided that ultimately chuuya was someone who meant well but his execution was pretty messy. he was going to make him an ally in the game, but one that didn't learn any secrets - and then he died and senri was actually super upset on his behalf?? also sincerity said that chuuya's wish was really important, so that made senri all the more hopeful that it would get to come true.

SENRI TOTALLY ADORED CINQUE, LMFAO. he did think that it was a little weird that she would ask him about takaomi - but also she asked when he was still pretty unsure of their relationship, and by default senri doesn't like talking about taka because it makes him tsuntsun really hard. but he thought that she was pretty silly and easygoing? it sort of weirded him out, that she could be so positive during such a difficult time, and he wasn't sure if she was completely grasping the situation.

BUT this started to change over time when cinque continued to be positive, and thoughtful, and would reach out to senri when he got upset. he admittedly still didn't know much about her, but when the options were to continue to be miserable, or to take cinque's hands, senri was absolutely going to choose the latter every single time. he thought that it was easier to lean into how peppy she was, and then see if he could emulate some of her energy. it slowly became that even if he couldn't take her seriously from being silly even when things were difficult, it was a constant that he slowly started to rely on, because being around her made him feel like things still had a chance of being normal. talking about gossip and fashion was nice, and comforting.

finding out that she was disorder's last follower also made him unbelievably relieved. he was so happy to find her, and know that she would be loyal to dizzy - just the fact that she was going out of her way to be friends with regina made senri really happy, because he wanted his friends to be friends. in the end, it turned out that cinque was one of the people that senri had to act the least around, because he really did get caught up in her tempo. it was nice. he knew that he could rely on her to take care of her friends, and that's all that he needed. he would listen to her to stop picking fights because he didn't want to upset her - because she was also his friend, and he really wanted her to be happy
