i've explained this before but madoka was pretty much the person who was really close to hitting friend status for taka and like, remarkably quickly?? like the main story of d!ing takes place over about 10 months or so and taka left it with two whole friends, so him liking madoka immediately was?? very impressive, she was very very good at friendshipping this tsun boy. and that's why he willingly told her his alignment after she admitted her own, because he thought it was fair and because he genuinely liked her? he liked talking to her and let her get away a lot of stuff that he wouldn't have let anyone else get away with? like the hand holding and teasing.
and then senri told taka that madoka blabbed to ray. and taka has a complicated relationship with friendship and getting close to people to the point where he will decide not to bother with it if he thinks he'll get hurt and that the relationship will get ruined. in the whole "'tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" sentiment he would disagree and think the opposite, basically. it's safer. so the fact that taka actually went and shared something that is very crucial to keep a secret in this game, and then she immediately went and blabbed it, hurt like. a lot. and unfortunately that made him dig his heels more into his line of thinking, and is... also one of the main reasons why he just refused to become friends with everyone else because madoka already proved him right lmao
like. he understands her reasoning? he does! but it wasn't her decision to make!! and the only reason he was even able to forgive her was because he ended up trusting ray anyway with alignment stuff, or else he wouldn't have. and it's a good thing that he never found out she also told yu because he would have been uhhhh a lot more vicious to madoka and meaner and would have never come to any sort of understanding with her towards the end. but it was like, even if she trusted them, she had no idea what their relationship with taka was like?? so she could have been screwing him over if they didn't happen to end up liking him. so, again, he understood why she did it but the fact that she refused to admit that there was a risk to what she did and the fact that she wasn't sorry for doing it is what made him ultimately go "i can forgive you but we can't be friends"
which is. again sad because she probably would have been the only non-god that taka would have considered a friend based on just her being her and not through alliances or anything and he's aware of that but. they talked about it so late in the game that at that point it was kind of too late to do anything or for him to have time for his feelings to change... but he doesn't hate her!!! and he wishes her the best!! and that she's happy!! he just wants no involvement in any of it
