it's funny because the glasses incident is also why she avoided talking to him as much. otherwise, she would have made fun of his hair more, but she didn't want to be reminded of that time she volunteered to be mortified. she's so fully invested in her feelings for satsuki that actually acting like someone else could be remotely on satsuki's level took her aback. she can flirt with people and that's fine because her heart really isn't in it, but being ~*~charmed~*~ was another story, so that unsettled her. she didn't blame him. she knew she asked for it and it was the glasses, which is why she was never really aggressive with him after the fact.

but other than that, nonon thought he was an all right guy? a tsun punk emo but he seemed smart enough, if standoffish. she could tell he and senri were close, but she never thought he was senri's +1 or anything. she clocked that he and senri bitched at each and figured they were friends since that's how she's like with the elite 4, so when senri revealed he knew her alignment after ray died and said that someone else did, too, that he meant taka.

but then tamaki's week came around, and she heard him play, and for a moment, it was like she could pretend things really were normal in some way. none of her close friends back home are into music at all like she is, so taka was new. she can't hate anyone who shows such genuine enthusiasm for music and has done nothing to outright offend her, so he endeared himself to her in his own way.

she sought him out after week 6's trial because of that. she wanted to check up on him and see how he was handling things. that entire trial was her wondering how much other people knew about those murders, and she isn't and wasn't smart enough to suss it completely out, but she still wanted to talk to him and play some music.

she thinks he's cute but could be cuter if he'd speak more tbh and hopes things get better for him since that fortune reveal at the very end was bad and a lot and it wasn't hard to see that he likes fortune a lot.

in au plasma, taka could have been her favorite. because if he could be friends and be bitchy at AND with her AND play music with her, that's like the best friend she could ever ask for. she would've roasted him for liking senri while simultaneously yelling at senri to shape up his love life for taka after they committed to a relationship and i'm just
