francy, i can't fucking believe STILL TO THIS DAY, DAYS LATER AFTER THE END OF THE GAME, that sasuke and taka went through so much shit together and never once talked about it really. they had at least four different occasions to become best friends and missed every fuckING CONNECTION because they're both fucking STUPID

but yeah, like i said, sasuke paid attention to taka's actions and taka would have to have paid attention to sasukes for them to understand how good people each of them were. and i think they did??? for the most part, ignoring the entire love triangle bullshit.

sasuke felt he probably could have related to taka if they did talk more about themselves. he wouldn't ever take back getting in the way of a spear for taka, or saving taka any other times. it was a quarter for senri but like... also for taka. he didn't have anything against taka honestly.

and he was angry at taka when ray died. at the time, he almost put battle armor on ray even though ray told him to do it to taka, accepting the favor curse over leaving ray vulnerable. but in the end, he believed in ray's craft, so he followed the request, knowing taka was probably also important to ray. looking back, would he have changed his mind, knowing ray was going to die?

probably not.

ray's death made him angry, but even knowing, he wouldn't have went through with not putting battle armor on taka.

at the end, as compromise, he tried to segway into being taka's friend. it was some for senri's sake, but also he wouldn't mind getting to know taka better after what they've been through, not knowing shit. ALAS, TAKA IS AN ASSHOLE and said literally nothing, but that's okay. sasuke said some things he was fine with saying.

it meant a lot to him when taka finally admitted to wanting sasuke to go back with them without it being for senri, so their "this is just for senri" feeling had been mutual. so yeah, taka is probably the last biggest reason sasuke decided to go with them to tokyo instead of just saying he'd go back to konoha first.

he knows deep down, despite senri and him not working out, taka will make senri happy. and that's all he can ask for.

p.s. his wish really was going to be to get uribos reformed for taka. he came to this conclusion after their game night when he was under the jacket listening, after the one thing taka told him about himself had been about not getting to meet the leader of thebambiz bc they reminded him of a band he'd never get to hear live.
