But she never saw that as a bad thing or anything to look down on. She really liked Luke because he was one of the people who she just kind of clicked with. They were able to just hang out and chat and play around, and it felt really natural to laugh together with their snowball fight and then have cocoa and it was just very soothing to have someone like that.
So she wanted to be able to comfort him, even if she didn't totally understand his relationship with Guy. After the killings, despite it being her own friends who had been hurt, she wanted him to know that it's okay to still care about people who have done bad things, even if it's a complicated feeling... She still doesn't feel like she did a very good job comforting him, but oh well.
... Honestly the whole S T R E A M L I N E D thing didn't super upset her, either. She was feeling the typical, like... Acceptance when someone calls out flaws that you're already insecure about... But also just being like WHY..... WHY AM I THIS.... AND WHY ARE YOU SAYING IT.... but also amused that he was getting so flustered but also was getting too flustered herself to calm him down properly...
Anyway, she didn't take it to heart, although she did assume that it meant he totally saw her as a child, which was disappointing because she also... Thought he was cute and nice and could have developed a small crush on him...
But in the end, she mostly just felt maternal towards him, as per how Madoka tends to feel with most... people... older than her... She just wants him to get his wish and be alive and well! And she has no idea what's up with him and Ion or even really that they're from the same world LOL so she's just - happy he's happy. Also, if the worlds get linked, she is hoping that she'll be perceptible to the gods despite her whole situation, just on account of them also being gods. So maybe if he's staying here with them for a while, she can visit? Who knows. But it's a nice thought.
