Eli take my 3-week old TL;CR!!!

Love: Okay you know how I kept saying that Rise was pretty gay for Zoe she was absolutely pretty gay for Zoe. Zoe was a wonderful human and Rise will kill everyone for her, bye. They bonded and got to know each other pretty fast and I think it helps that they're the same age and they both have a music motif and other little things in common. For a long while Rise forgot that Zoe was a follower because she thought of her more like a friend than anything else. She liked seeing her each week and spending time with her and getting to know her. As someone who didn't have a lot of friends even in her canon until the last year or two of her life, she's very fiercely protective of the ones she does have and that was 100% the case with Zoe. She was furious and upset that Zoe died, but simultaneously she couldn't help but be a little relieved it was the same time as Ray so those two could take care of each other. Zoe was a person that let her be herself and reminded her that even if things were fucked up, they all had to stay positive. A good girl, 10/10, she'll love this girl until the day she dies.

Cunning: ….lmfao I don't. Know. What to say because AHHHH. God okay so Cunning DID NOT LIKE ZOE FOR A LONG TIME. He found her annoying and kind of self-righteous and a littttttle aggravating and yet at the same time he liked pushing her buttons and seeing what made her tick. Over time and the longer they talked, the more he eased up and started listening, and she earned some of his respect by listening to him and training under him. I'm trying to really pinpoint when, exactly, that shift happened and it was probably in their chess thread because even if she didn't agree she listened and still came back to him and that was probably the easiest way to get him to open up. He still doesn't 100% trust her because he doesn't 100% trust anyone, but it also hit him like a ton of bricks that the reason he was so goddamn fussed was because she very strongly reminded him of Annabeth and he wasn't ready to accept that. At the same time, Zoe is probably the main catalyst for why Cunning started to change and really think about what he was doing and start to change his mind and listen to other people, and more people started talking to him and he built CR with them. Cunning was also furious when Zoe died but it was such a huge conflict of interest because the killer was Guy, who was aligned with him, and Guy's someone he also likes a lot. It was the first real wake-up call to why this kind of shit really wasn't a smart idea. He won't ever really tell her everything about himself, I think, but he's going to be highkey disappointed if she doesn't ever bother to come back and see him again. You can't just change a person and disappear. That's not chill. But he would…really weirdly…call her a friend now.

So thanks for that.
