I'm. STARTING WITH EASY TO HARD MODE.
Cunning: Senri's obnoxious and literally just a Taka-accessory for Cunning. In their last thread he started to loosen up a little and saw what kind of point he was trying to make, but at the time of their first actual real thread they just didn't see eye to eye and Cunning wasn't in a place he could rectify that, nor did he want to. All the same, he could at least admit Senri was putting in some good work and that was good enough.
Merriment: Senri was always really nice to talk to but Senri was also one of those people that Merriment kept a low-key eye on solely because of his relationship with Taka. While Jack liked Senri in his own right, he mostly knew about him via Taka and would 100% throw down if Senri ever hurt Taka in any way. He found that Senri was easy to talk to and it wasn't hard to see why people talked to Senri a lot. At the same time, most of his thoughts and speculations came from biased formed thanks to his conversations with other people. It's not a negative thing though. Senri himself is a good enough person and Jack's comfortable with the idea of Senri being the person Taka can rely on.
Love: SAME ENERGY!!! It's so funny because their CR went from where they got along and were flirting and then she was really angry and wanted to kill him for hurting her emotional support gremlin and then they eased into this nice friendship that was actually pretty cute at the end. Rise and Senri are about the same age and a lot of the time Rise would know how to navigate her conversations with him by thinking of how she would behave. A liar knows a liar and she never really thought that she'd have to worry about Senri's intentions. On the other hand, she knows he's a little more emotion-driven than she is and she'd always be willing to step in and talk him down from things and calm him down. She thinks Senri's actually a really bright person who doesn't always think things through before he does them, and she absolutely understands his need to want to help and protect the people he cares about even if he's the one they're protecting. They're in that same boat together. Senri is someone she thinks she'd be friends with in another life where they were normal but she could never, like, date him? He's basically her rule 63 doppleganger and that's a lot for her to process. In the end though she saw a change in him and she can at least say she's proud of him and she's honored to be his friend.

I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START HERE BECAUSE WE HAD ONE CHANCE TO SHIP AND WE PROMPTLY KILLED IT.
Godddddd okay…Senri and Tamaki clicked, like, immediately, and we've talked about this, we talked about the fact that at first it was just fun harmless flirting and then Senri told Tamaki his actual wish about his mom and all bets were off the table. He immediately latched onto that desire because it's such a strong resonating point that he'd have to be a huge asshole to ignore it. Even with that in mind, they started seeing each other multiple times a week and spending time together and Tamaki found himself drawn to him more and more.
The problem with Senri is that he's literally the perfect hybrid of two of Tamaki's favorite people, Haruhi and himself. Senri has all of the loud, showy parts of Tamaki blended with the more sensible commoner aspects of Haruhi and it was fascinating to him. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't exactly look away or push Senri away from him. Senri and Tamaki have this weirdly unique set of circumstances where Senri wants to be taken care of and Tamaki wants to take care of someone, so they ended up balancing each other that way and making things work. Tamaki, oblivious as he was, ended up making the mistake of not recognizing his VERY STRONG FRIENDSHIP For feelings of affection and romance until about the point Senri said "Takaomi and I are dating." Even now I think if he'd realized it sooner he might not have said anything because he got the impression from Taka that there was something there and he wouldn't want to get in the way of it. It's so funny bc at LITERALLY ANY OTHER CANONPOINT THIS PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. BUT NO. IT WAS THE POINT WITH THE HIKARU AND HARUHI THING AT NEW YEARS AND HERE WE ARE.
I still can't decide if they're romantic or friendship or kin or what the fuck and the thing is that Senri is one of the few people in Plasma he trusted more than anything in the world (the other being Mizuki.) He allowed himself to be vulnerable around him and yeah, he got pouty when Senri wouldn't let Tamaki take care of him but I think he also learned a lot from him. One week taught him love, one taught him patience and one taught him pain. And it's fine!!!!
His feelings for Senri are still complicated because he's acknowledged they're akin to romantic love and wanting the best for him and knowing that he isn't the best option. In the end though he wants what's best for Senri even if that means letting him go, and he's going to hold onto those memories tightly for the rest of his immortal life.
I hate that we actually hit 40%.
