It's funny because across the board my gods thought Luke was a very curious kind of person. Beauty was never quite sure what to really make of him but found him amusing, frankly, and wanted to learn more about him. He had a feeling there was plenty that Luke wasn't saying and while he wouldn't pry he would definitely want to learn what Luke felt like sharing. He also actually liked that Luke was sort of stubborn, and he was pretty impressed with the way Luke handled himself in trials and the like.
Love and Merriment both thought he was sweet and also had a lot left to learn. He's someone they could both see potential in and since those two are the gods who had powers pre-ascension they took a certain interest in things like artes and swordsmanship and etc. Jack found that Luke's descent into animanga culture was hilarious and Rise was really happy to hear that Luke wasn't going to be one of those guys who just sort of settled. They both appreciate a hard worker.
Cunning and Luke also have a lot in common besides just sharing a name and even without Guy's influence I think he would have liked Luke regardless. They're similar in temperaments and also like. He gets it. He gets what it's like to make a Huge Mistake and have to try and make up for it and also surprise he's also super dead! Wild! So basically the thing about Luke and Luke is that he wanted to see what he was like with Guy and what he was like on his own, and so he tried asking questions to see what made Luke tick. In the end, he felt a sort of curiosity and semi-respect for him because he seemed very sure of himself even when he didn't quite have an answer. That's a talent and also something not many people can own. Despite everything he sees Luke as a very distinct kind of person and he's just kind of relieved that he and Guy have each other. It's a good match, and…at the end of the day, sure, he'll even accept Ion and Luke being a thing. Somebody's gotta help the small leader lighten up a bit.
