MAKING AN OFFERING
The altar room to the north of the courtyard is where your character will want to go if they wish to get in contact with any of the gods.
Who they decide to make out an offering to is their choice. It can be one of the gods, or it can be someone else who they're currently unable to get into contact with. The outcome of this is dependent upon what they decide to send and which target is kept in mind as they send it. There's no limit to what your character may send, but be warned that an insulting or otherwise unappreciated offering may be met with retaliation.
Some offerings may be met with silence, others hints, others blessings, and others still curses. What each character gets is completely in their hands.

If your character is attempting to reach out to a god that they are not currently aligned with, an offering is required. However, if they are attempting to contact the god they are currently aligned with, all they need to do is pray - although buttering them up with an offering might just help, depending on why they're praying.
