It's been some time since we've been to the beach. It was winter at the time of my ascension...New Years, actually. It's nice to see the ocean again.
[senri will put one piece of pocky in his mouth, but be good and reach into the box to lift another one up to feed tamaki because this is what friends do]
Ooh, New Year's? I went to a fancy people party on New Year's. How did yours go?
It was enlightening. [He turns his head to break off part of the pocky with his teeth. Thanks Senri.] The twins hosted the party but it was for several of our regular customers, so we hosted that night as well. Beautiful as always...it had just snowed, so everything looked nice.
We were going to visit a shrine to officially ring in the new year, but I never got that far.
I'm sure you can figure out something - or who knows, another god could do it. [lmao love,, anyway senri will just shrug even as he takes another bite of pocky] I think it's just really important for you to make your new year wishes now more than ever.

Ouran does have a theater...you could, perhaps, arrange for something during my host week? It might be fun for you and give everyone something to make them smile. The academy has most things you could ever want. And whatever it doesn't have I can create later.

[Tamaki's head whips around to look at the horizon, watching the fireworks burst across the sky.]
....fireworks? [He blinks in surprise before he smiles widely, turning to face Senri again.] Senri, look! [And there's another smattering of pops and bursts, colored sparks appearing as they fade slowly.] I didn't know this beach had them.
[that's - so weird? senri looks incredulous for a few moments, and pulls away briefly if only to try to crane his neck to see where they might be coming from but... he just ends up laughing instead as he curls back up next to Tamaki
and he tries not to think about the last time he saw fireworks like this]
I don't really think I get it. I won't complain though. They're just as beautiful as always.
Perhaps someone else is here. [Senri tucks himself against Tamaki's side and he allows it just as easily as always.] Or perhaps the night knows that when you and I are together sparks fly~?
