You'll give me a distraction from how awful everything's been? I'd appreciate that a lot, you know.
[senri's been doing a pretty great job of appearing business as usual in public, but his nerves have been pretty fried in private. being able to forget about all the numbers and alignments he still doesn't know would help a bit]
Yes. That's what I want from this week and why Sincerity and I created the wings the way that we did. Even in the face of tragedy, I want to give people a reason to smile and get through it together.
[ . . . . and senri will just pause for a second. there's a moment where he finally looks as tired as he feels, stuck in a place between incomplete mourning over friends he wanted to share all this with and anxiety over the possibility that he feels like he's setting himself up for trouble the more he tries to make up for their loss
he looks away for a second, as if ashamed]
... then if it's okay.... if I get to relax for a little....
[Senri...a hand comes up to pet his hair just a little bit.]
You're my guest for today, and it's my job to ensure you have a good day. So please relax, and let me grant your small wishes. I can take you anywhere you'd like, answer anything you'd like...it's up to you.
[...okay, he'll do that. He'll grant whatever wishes Senri has including holding his hand.]
Alright. I can do that. [They're entering the campus and he looks up at some of the buildings.] I've never done this before without being a host, but I'll try my best.
Alright. [He'll swing their hands as he uses his free hand to gesture to the courtyards.] The gardens have at least 20 types of roses in any direction, but the real prize are the sakura trees. The grounds are always well-kept...Ouran prides itself on its appearance.
[He hums to himself.] ...when I first arrived, Kyoya was the one to give me a tour of the school. He's been attending since he was in preschool, so he knew a little of everything.
Yes. [He brightens a bit.] The vice president of the Host Club, and my best friend. He's the Cool Type of host, top of our class and one of the best people I know. He's not afraid to be harsh though sometimes he limits himself. I think he's getting better.
I didn't give him much of a choice. I liked him right away. [And Kyoya thought he was obnoxious while Tamaki gave zero fucks.] ...Kyoya and I are very different people. He's very abrasive and calculative at times, and we do call him the shadow king for a reason...but he's also kind and works with the best intentions even if he'll deny it.
...I miss him, actually. [But he turns to head into the west building for the tour.]
[and senri will just follow along, listening before offering up a soft smile]
... I'm sure he misses you, too.
There's really no way for you to see him again? If we can send letters to Passhi when she's in another world, you can't send the ones you've been writing?
[admittedly senri doesn't know who the letters have been addressed to but - he has noticed tamaki writing them]
[Ah. He doesn't comment on Senri realizing there are letters, but he shrugs.] I'm not sure. I think that's something we haven't quite decided on as a pantheon. I think perhaps we can check in, but only seeing them. We ascended, so...to protect the world order, I wonder if it's best not to.
The west building! Campus is divided into several parts for preschool, elementary, middle school, high school and university...but then each division has several buildings. This is where a lot of our recreational classes are. Gym, home economics, things like that.
Venice is here, too. And there's the pool on the roof.

senri's just laughing - and he'll turn his right hand so he can cup tamaki's cheek for a second, fond as ever
and then he'll pull away]
Thanks.

he pulls his arm out of tamaki's so they aren't linked anymore, and instead just reaches for his free hand to hold it.]
.... then I'd like it if - even if you're giving me a tour - it's not between a host and a guest. I'd like it to be between Tamaki and Senri.
That always makes me feel better.

If it's you, anything is fine, Tama-chin.

... Glasses-kun?

What an impressive pitch...!! It makes sense that someone like that would be your best friend, I think.

senri just bumps into tamaki lightly, playfully and offers him up a smile]
... something to think about.
Even though I say it, I might be a coward that would run away when push came to shove. But... I at least know how I'd like to react, I guess.

It's a nice thing to think about, isn't it? I think if we try to picture our wants they'll become our actions over time.

Which part of the school are we in now...?

Truly... in a different class...
Our campus is large too but....
