He's really sweet. He's from out in the countryside somewhere? I don't know much about his hometown - he's even more of a commoner than I am, since he's not from Tokyo.

[Haruhi was really smart.] But over time we got her to agree and we've been learning since. Sometimes it's like a whole other language I can't understand, but she seems to handle poverty with grace.
