My best friend was like that when he first came to Tokyo. Didn't fix his hair, giant glasses, really cute accent - it was super endearing, but kind of put him at a disadvantage.
There are some people who only judge by appearances. I had to teach them to use clothes to get the people who wouldn't pay attention to them sit up and take notice when it mattered.
Riiiight? Yumapi has to become a performer, you know? To get followers and their attention at first glance, it's easier to do it when you put effort into your appearance.
... I hope you all as a pantheon get to decide - and I hope you'll at least be able to see them again. I'm sure it'd be nice to see their transformations.
