I would love that. [So basically cooking lessons? Love's down for that. Still, there's a soft shake of their head.]

Who cares what they think? Everything worked out and now we know we just have to be a little more careful. Besides, I don't doubt that they're starting to encourage their own followers to use their powers, too.

[... Hm. He guesses Love is right about that. More people are going to try their powers- at least he knows to be more cautious.]

Do you guys know when people are using their powers?

Technically when you guys summon us, we can go wherever we want. We just can't wander around on our own if we're not hosting or anything. Would you like to meet somewhere else next time? It doesn't have to be the kitchen either.

[Hm...] We know when our followers are using their powers, yeah. [If there's more to it than that, Love finds they're unable to say so.]

Is this your favorite room? Um... I don't have any place I like the most. The dance hall will work unless you want to learn how to cook.

But only your own? Patience knew that Ambition's power was used... was that because she was the host?

It's one of my favorites. I'd like to learn to be better at it, but I can't really eat with the mask on. [i.e. when they're around Sieg.]

Are you talking about when she said it during the trial?

What are your other favorites? I'm sure you have a reason to keep your identifies secret. I'm used to people needing to do that.

[Well, Servants did that. But all of them were people once.]

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking about.

The pool's really nice. And the salon? Definitely those places. The masks are part of our rules, but...we can take them off around each other. Maybe it won't always be that way.

[MMMMM.] Well...yeah, we can tell when powers are used and who uses them, regardless of faction. I didn't know if I could say.

[Also I, Ty, didn't know for 100% sure and messed that up my b.]

Huh... I kind of thought you were keeping your real identities secret from each other as well as us. That's kind of how it worked at home.

But most of the time, you guys can't tell us much?

[divus]

Nah. We can see each other and stuff, but we didn't really know each other before all of this. [It's hard to see, but Love smiles behind the mask.]

That's right though. We can start telling you guys stuff the more loyalty you provide to us and the more you talk to us. It was one of the rules we put in place.

But you all ended up as the same Pantheon? Usually when I heard about those, the gods are related or at least know each other.

It sounds like you have more rules than we have to worry about.

[divus]

Have you had a lot of experiences with gods before, Sieg-san? I can't remember if I've ever asked but I think you know more about this stuff than I do.

[There's a huff.] We have our own set of rules to make sure the game's fair. It's why we can't share our names or our faces or anything like that.

Not a lot. I only met a few of them for a brief amount of time. It's mostly what I heard from the Greek Servants.

[Huh.] What made you choose the name "Love"?

[divus]

Your world is one of the more confusing ones. [They sound perplexed, but accepting. A hand comes up to cup their chin.]

I didn't choose it. All of our names were chosen for us, actually! But they're supposedly names that suit us for one reason or another. We've been figuring it out.

[heartmunculus]

A little bit. Most people don't know about the confusing part.

[God I wish that were me.]

What, really? So is there a god over your Pantheon that named you for this?

[divus]

[RIP Mira.] The world I was from in the old life...it was normal but sometimes confusing, too. Maybe it's like that for everyone in a way.

[There's a shake of the head though.] I don't think so! I think when we all ascended we just...you know, knew. Like a preset or something. It's either something literal, or something we strongly believe in or identify with.

[heartmunculus]

I know you can't say much about it, but I'd like to hear more about it some time.

I guess that makes as much sense as anything else. I was wondering, since Justice and Merriment are both hosts this week, do you get along with any of your fellow gods?

[divus]

Someday soon, okay? I promise.

[There's a hum of thought as they weigh that answer.] I get along with a lot of them, actually! There are plenty of nice ones among us and others I can tolerate. I'm sort of used to dealing with all kinds of personalities. Sincerity and Beauty are maybe the easiest, but Piety's very nice. So are Justice and Merriment. Indulgence can be funny and Disorder's okay sometimes if you're careful. Ambition, too.

Alright. I can be patient.

Huh... It sounded like none of you could be together at the same time from what I heard from Patience. I'm glad that you can get along with them. Being stuck together with people you don't like forever... that would be awful.

[divus]

I know. You've been very good at that so far. [And they appreciate it.]

Sometimes I don't think she knows what she's talking about. [Huff.] Some of us don't choose to be together, but some of us like spending time together when we aren't talking to you guys or fighting about the world. We're all going to be stuck together in the end anyway, so...why not?

Besides, Merriment and Justice are together right now, aren't they? [In the sense of being out and about.]

[heartmunculus]

[It's a little different when he's actually awake for all of the waiting. But it's definitely better than being alone, so he can't exactly complain.]

I hope you all don't fight over that too often. Especially if you're together a lot. It's probably naive of me, but I hope after all of this you can keep getting along.

They are. Though they've been spending time in different wings.

I think in the end we're always going to disagree on some things, but that's why we need a head of the pantheon! Someone to lead all of us and make sure we're all heard and can agree and not destroy the new world we're creating. And that's why I'm going to be that person.

[But oh.] ...I guess they want to make sure you guys can approach both of them at any time. The wings are theirs, after all.

[ He'd like that if it were the case. First though, they have to get through a few weeks of their competition.] Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to do.

That would make sense. Patience said she made the wings last week too.

You're doing your best right now...oh! [Wait!] Sieg-san...have you met many of the others yet? I'm curious if you've learned of the alignment of other people yet.

And she was right. They'll probably change with each host.

The other participants? I've spoken to a few of them, but not all.

I know Chuuya is switching away from Disorder. Hiro is with one of Love, Indulgence and Sincerity.

It's hard to trust people when it's this early in the competition.
