Everyone's got their own way of handling this. Your way is your own, even if you're not entirely sure of it yet.

Does that mean your world and Love's are compatible?

Well... yeah, fundamentally, I think so. And like, I wouldn't kick up a fuss if she won, but... [He shrugs.] Man. It's ironic! All I wanted before all this was to get out of politics. My family's been in it for ages, you know. You can't help but pick up a thing or two there.

Love and I have really similar ideas for our worlds. The difference between us is I've got experience running the show, and she doesn't.

[He nods as Sincerity talks. Even though he doesn't have much experience with politics, being surrounded by things mean absorbing that information.]

Do you want to rule and deal with the politics of being the... head god?

Love said she was an idol before all of this happened. Were you working in politics before coming here?

If we were reading and writing, the full explanation would be way too long to read.

I started to learn it before even coming here, but the only way to make meaningful change is to be the one in power. You can have all the good ideas in the world, but if the people who are in charge aren't listening, what's the point?

I didn't have a political position or anything, but I organized a bunch of rowdy groups [to put it mildly] and got some things in their lives changed on a smaller scale. I expanded their world. It's the same concept - I can do the same thing with this group of gods and the world we'll make, too.

I think Love would listen to other people's ideas as long as they weren't harmful.

Generally though... you need some amount of power or there's no reason for anybody to listen to you.

What kinds of things were you able to change?

I think she'd listen. I just don't know that she has the experience to put it all into practice. How can I put it...

[hmm.]

I'm not sure if you really get sick, so this might not be the best example. But say you're very ill, and you need some kind of surgery. Who are you going to want to perform it? A rookie doctor with good intentions but no experience, or a doctor who's successfully done it before and knows what they're doing?

I think Love could grow into being a great god after a little time. I just don't think she's ready to run the whole show yet.

Hmm... Experience means something. But sometimes a newcomer can come in with a different perspective and might find something everyone else missed.

How many of you have experience running groups? ... I'm guessing none of you have run a world before.

None of us have run a world before, no. Well... some of us came close.

[Sincerity... does not sound like he wants to be honest here, but that's kind of his thing, so.]

Indulgence has actually ruled over a kingdom before. Technically he has the most years of leadership experience under his belt. Piety's got experience overseeing large groups, too, and Ambition and I grew up in political families. I got really good at navigating that kind of thing, and I'm pretty sure Ambition was planning to take over her city once she was old enough to run for office.

So of the twelve of you competing to make the new world only four of you have experience with some kind of leadership or politics.

You said technically with Indulgence? Was he less active in ruling?

More of us might, but those are just the ones I know about. ...oh, wait, I think Ruin had a leadership role in some kind of group.

Fortune spent some time around rulers, so she might have picked a few things up. Disorder didn't rule anything on the same scale as a city or a country, but she's got some experience in telling people what to do... I think Cunning might've had some experience with something similar. I don't know all the details there though.

Indulgence, well, he's been in charge since he was in diapers. But, like... hello? Diapers? I can't say he's spent his entire life ruling because how would he even remember that part? He probably just said "goo goo ga ga" and some adviser interpreted it however they wanted.

I thought you spent time with each other. ... Maybe not in all together but... How long have you all been gods? Do you not talk to each other often?

Or is it more like you can't agree with each other, so it's hard to talk for very long?

So Indulgence was somebody who was born into power? Is that royalty?

We haven't been gods for very long. A lot of us just kinda... end up bickering with each other if we're left to our own devices for too long? So you won't usually see all of us in one room.

[SHRUGS.]

Pretty sure the guy's some kind of royalty, but it's not from any country I've ever heard of.
