Why three?

There's a one in a trillion chance. She's not the kind of person who would ever give up.

Most important things where I come from come in threes. Three fates, three realms of the Underworld, the perfect number for quests is three...not totally sure why.

...sounds like a good friend to have around though if you can really trust her.

She is. Jeanne d'Arc is a great friend.

...do you mean Joan of Arc? [He's from America and he went to school for. A little while.] Didn't she burn or something?

For everything she did in life, she was written into the Throne of Heroes. Um... People like Sherlock, Merlin, Chiron and Achilles are also written in there.

...Chiron? [All of those names are familiar, sure, but one sure does stick out. He sounds a little baffled.]

... Did you know him too?

His other title is Great Sage of Centaurs. He was one of the Archers I knew during the Grail War. I would've liked to talk to him more... he was a great teacher.

Yeah, I know who he is. [That sounds about right, except for the Grail part.] He was the activities director at our camp.

... He was really good at corralling people. Somehow, that seems to suit him.

Yeah, that camp. He's been around for years, I don't even really know how long. But that's what he's always done in the time I've known him.

I'm pretty sure our Chiron died from poison. I don't think he could be summoned unless he died.

... I'm glad there's a version of him that didn't die.

Huh. I don't think our Chiron's ever dealt with poison, but I've been getting the sense that a lot of the worlds are overlapping. He's still alive as far as I know. Or he was when I last saw him which wasn't too long before I got here.

It seems like the majority of us and the gods are from Earth. It makes sense that myths wouldn't be too different.

... I hope he's still alive.

Maybe it doesn't even matter now since I'll never go back. But I could probably check if I really wanted to. It's sort of how we got you guys here in the first place.

You guys can look through different worlds, right?

It'd be nice to check in on people.

Maybe for some of the others, but I think I'd rather keep the past in the past at this point.

...on the other hand? It at least taught me what kind of world I don't wanna run. True or false: the past is a confusing thing?

It's very confusing when time travel happens.

Time travel. [Um.] Do you time travel a lot?

I don't do it personally. Chaldea's Master had to go back in time because somebody was trying to change the timeline.

I just know that it's happening.

I don't know how your world hasn't driven you crazy yet. Knowing all of that and not being able to do much about it.

There's another me in Chaldea. They're able to help out.

... I have to stay with the Greater Grail.

There's the main me. That's the one with the Greater Grail. You contacted that version of me.

Then there's the terminal of myself that I cut off from my main consciousness. That me can help Chaldea with restoring the world to what it should be. [Weirdly that version of him prays to the dragon him and I really don't know what to tell you.]
