I'm worried somebody's going to curse someone at trial and derail us. We've already had it happen too often.

You can try asking Indulgence for an item though. And I can fortify it. Curse-breaking is my specialty, so if you explain that to him maybe he'll help?

Just be careful not to get locked into a deal with him that ends in you swapping to him for the last week. You can try saying it's a favor for me, or bring Nonon-san. She can probably bully him into behaving.
