Everybody's taking my baking. Um... I did learn Ambition doesn't like baked goods and Justice can't eat, so I've been getting them different things instead.

They're sweets. Usually in the shape of something cute. [Stop this.] I can bring some for us next time if you'd like.

Hippogriffs.

Part eagle and part horse.

It's my best friend's mount.

I don't think I've ever seen one. [Because they aren't real in his old world but WHATEVER.] But that's a good reason as to why.

They aren't common where I'm from either. A phantasmal beast like a hippogriff only shows up with a heroic spirit that has a legend associated with them.

What sort of legends are tied to hippogriffs then? I don't think I know of them.

The hippogriff is a steed born of a mare and a griffin—it is extremely fast and is presented as being able to fly around the world and to the Moon.

It's able to travel between Earth and the Reverse Side of the World for just a moment. So even if you were attacked on a hippogriff, you would avoid it.

So it's incredibly speedy and agile. That would make for a very noble steed...but where is the Reverse Side? What does that mean?

The Reverse Side of the World is basically where all the myths exist. Humanity's picked technology over that, so they all migrated.

If there's a mythical creature you can think of it's in the Reverse Side of the World.

I never realized such a place existed. So things such as dragons and unicorns and the like...they all still exist?

[heartmunculus]

They've always existed, as far as I know. They just kept their distance from humans.

I'm a dragon, after all.

...I've heard, but I didn't think you meant an actual dragon. You look very human to me.

[heartmunculus]

I'm not human either. I was originally a homunculus and then I turned into a dragon after... a series of events.

My dragon form wasn't working here, so I turned into this.

Ah, that explains that. We did arrange to have abilities disabled for the duration of this game in order to bestow our powers to you. I imagine once you leave your form will work just fine.
