It led to me getting hurt pretty badly. I mean, like, literally, I actually almost died. So it's kind of turned me off on the whole "you have to be beautiful and fashionable" thing.
Exactly. My life got so much better after I stopped getting caught up in the status-quo and just accepted myself for who I am, faults and all. That's why I don't want a world where those kind of ideals are in the forefront.
Sincerity, most of all. He's all about, like, people needing to dress their best at all times. "You feel best when you look best," he says, but like, what defines "best" and why should people have to meet those kind of standards to feel good? Newsflash: I love a good pair of heels but obviously everyone feels better in sweats.
Right? People should be able to be comfortable the way that they feel comfortable and not, like, feel pressured into changing just because some kind of abstract standard says people will like them better that way.
