Pretty much my reasoning. He's not someone I want to see win, but I'm not particularly nervous about being aligned with him for now.

There's two of you right now. And if you switch back, somebody's inevitably gonna switch to him to try and balance the numbers again. I'm not too worried.

It was a nice effort. Trying to make sure all of us had at least one follower? But it still didn't work out for Ruin...and I wonder if it'll work out perfectly any other time anyway.

It's not that personal. But her vision for the world isn't what I want, and also she's kind of terrifying. So no thanks.

...I don't want her dead or anything, but at least it means she'll have to catch up a lot if she wants to win.

Honestly, if she manages to win, she'll deserve it for sheer determination, cleverness, luck, or all of the above.

Maybe that's true, but I'm still holding out hope she stays at the bottom.
