Yup. [Breaking off a piece of the sandwich, he chews on that for a bit before he answers.] I can see everything in this wing since it's mine and I designed the house. Why?
It'll help you and only you. You, Connor and Zoe. It'll heal any of your wounds you acquire but don't eat too much at once. I can't guarantee what'll happen after that. But at least the first square should keep you three in good shape.
Hellhounds. [But he finishes the sandwich and nods.] Alright. Take half a square, see how you feel. We can head to the ring before this wing disappears.
[With the ambrosia in his mouth, Ray will a.) find that it tastes like his favorite food/a very comforting food he strongly associates with and b.) find that his injuries heal up pretty well to where he's a lot more comfortable and almost good as new.]
Look at that. Not dead. [Shrug.] That's kind of a wildcard. It'll do whatever you want it to do, but don't jostle it around too much if you don't want the whole thing to explode.
Alright. Got a particular weapon you want to use, or am I supplyin' today? [They enter the arena not long after that and there's a pile of weapons off to the side to choose from.]
Cool. Let's start small. [He'll fish a decent-sized dagger out of the pile to hand over, drawing his own sword.] Knives are only for the bravest and quickest fighters. It's a risk-taker since you don't get the same reach or power as a bigger blade, but you get the advantage of it being small and easy to hide. You can draw it and attack much faster than someone with a sword could. It'll be easier to teach you this way, too, instead of trying to get you started on a full-sized sword.
Good start. Why don't you come at me and we'll see what you can do first. Then we can make adjustments and I'll teach you how to avoid other people's blocks.
he'll lunge right at cunning for a vital area—straightforward, but intentionally so for the purpose of this exercise. no hesitation either; he's obviously not afraid to hurt someone.]
SHUT UP
So, I'm sure you know—and enjoyed—our happy fun adventure in your house of doom.

[he takes out the ambrosia square zoe gave him.]
Didn't grab it myself but got it from Zoe, so will this help me or kill me?

By the way, we got a jar of green flames from your event. What does it do?

[...so...it's kind of a bomb.]

... Could you elaborate on "do whatever I want it to do"?
