[As he promised, Guy will be bumming around the lab! He has set aside his big boy charger thingamabob project for now and is working on something much smaller while he waits for Justice to either come find him or summon him somewhere else.]
[His darling baby boo smoochums oh god he misses the albiore so much
Justice can feel free to take it and look it over. It looks like it should be able to run by remote! That must be the smaller box that's currently in various states of repair elsewhere on the table, that sure looks like a remote.]
She's not quite done yet. Still have to find a way to help her fly around correctly without losing all her power. But I'm going to figure it out. She's supposed to be for you, after all.
[A beat, as he's rummaging through the drawers of another desk.]
I wasn't aware you guys could give us anything. Should I ask what it is? [Or is it a surprise.]
[That's right...ships are all girls! When Justice has looked her over thoroughly, the Albiore is placed carefully back on the table.]
For...for me, really?
[There's a mixture of shock and excitement in their voice, and Justice is practically tittering in place, hands on the sides of their face.]
It's not...well, it's different. This doesn't count. Hold on a second.
[While Guy's preoccupied, he'll hear the clacking of a keyboard, a beep, and the sound of a door opening and closing. But Justice is back in a flash, and there's no trace that there was anywhere they could've gone. It's obvious there's something in their arms, though, and soon enough there's a bundle of fresh grapes on the table, as well.]
Hey, would you look at that? Thanks, Justice. [Also WHERE THE HELL DID YOU JUST GO-- okay no never mind he'll just save that for another time.]
Of course it's for you. I told you I'd build you something, right? The real Albiore's preeeetty big, but I thought making a smaller one might be a little more your style. I want to make sure it looks nice for you, though. I'll have it in the offering bowl when it's all set.
[He's gonna start clearing off some of this mess (besides the grapes, those can stay) to make enough room for the both of them to work with the paper he now has on the table, a few writing utensils of different colors on either side.]
You guys really have your own rooms here? Is that where you normally stay when you're not out here talking to one of us?
[Justice giggles as Guy explains more about the Albiore Miniature.]
I can't wait! I'll cherish her!
[As they speak, they wheel a chair over to sit on.]
Yes. I'm almost always in my room, it's right on the other side of that wall. So, whenever anyone is using the lab, I feel almost like I'm surrounded by family.
I have to let you find your own way in, but I don't have to stay in there if I don't want to. I just don't usually leave on my own because...because...
[They fidget.]
I don't know what to do, or who would want me around.
WEEK 2, FRIDAY
no subject
Thank you for always being here.
no subject
Of course! This place is like a second home to me, thanks to you.
[He holds up the object in his hand for a second. It's still not too refined, but the shape is pretty interesting.]
I'll go find where I put all that stuff from the study. You want to take a look while I do that?
no subject
Is this a ship?
[Justice reaches for it with their small hands.]
Oh, I have something I thought I could give you, too. It's just in my room.

Oh! It's food! He laughs, simply pleased.]

[THAT'S COOL BUT ALSO CONCERNING also is your room small that's suddenly a huge concern]
Aren't you worried someone will open it on accident? I mean, anyone can access that computer.

no subject
I can't speak for everybody, but I know I wouldn't mind having you present more often. You should open up and visit us sometime while we're working.
[...Ah, right. Rules.]
If... you can, I mean.
Do your rules require you to stay there all the time?
no subject
I have to let you find your own way in, but I don't have to stay in there if I don't want to. I just don't usually leave on my own because...because...
[They fidget.]
I don't know what to do, or who would want me around.
no subject
That's a start, right?
no subject
[Justice starts to lose tension from their stance.]
I want to try...to be less worried about what people think about me.
[They pause again, seeming to mull something over, and then finally make another admission.]
The grapes...they were a gift from Ava. I mean, an offering. But an offering is like a gift, too, isn't it? That's why I thought you should have them.
no subject
[A beat, as he looks back at the fruit, then at the little god next to him.]
Hey, you don't need to do that if it was from her, you know. I don't want to take something that important away from you.
no subject
no subject
You can't do that?
[CAN YOU NOT TAKE OFF THE MASKS LIKE........... AT ALL..............]
no subject
No, I can't.
no subject
[...
Oh no he's in front of the child. OH WELL.]
And yet you guys still take offerings for food? How come?
no subject
[People work so hard on their gifts!!!]
And it's only a problem for me, not the others.
no subject
...Is it just something with your rules now that doesn't let you do that, or have you always been like that?
no subject
[Their gaze stares almost longingly at the fruit on the table. At least, their posture indicates longing.]
I'm not...normal.
no subject
just
gonna reach out and bop him on the head a little.]
You're still you. That's good enough for me.
I'll try to keep that in mind in the future. If I'm going to offer anything to you, I want it to be something you can use, okay?
