What happened with Fortune this week... That shouldn't have to happen again. If it can't be helped, that's different. But if we can do something to help the rest of you not turn into pawns, then we should at least try.

I don't know how much I can do in such a short time. But I think it will be a little easier this way.

I wish I did, but...maybe not all of them.

I hope maybe someday I can be more friendly with all of them, but right now, I usually only talk to Piety and Merriment. They're both really nice to me.

I won't tell anyone. I had a feeling it was something like that...it seemed like the kind of thing that was specific to one place. Were you friends?

We were. He was a pretty important person. Always really hard on himself, but doing whatever he could to try to stay a neutral party and advocate for closure and peace. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the mantle he had to take around here because of that.

He... hasn't been alive for a while. I'm not sure how he made it here.

I think...a lot of us...we came here when something really bad happened to us. When we had some sort of intense thought or feeling...because of whatever it was. Maybe it's not bad for everyone, but I know it was for me, so if he was dying...
