I've never really learned to cook or bake or anything. I know how to read recipes and I like experimenting with flavors, but I can't do anything from scratch. It's kind of calming though isn't it? Plus it takes a good amount of time.

I'm mostly used to going out to eat. And everything I'm used to making is just... basic shit...

The kitchen here is pretty well stocked though.

I used to go out a lot, too, before the ascension. But we owned a shop that sold food so I started learning a little on my own. One of my followers said they'd teach me sometime, so that makes me happy.

Basic skills are still skills, you know. Especially if you can sustain yourself. [i.e. embrace your independence.]

[There's a laugh. ] Fair enough. [A pause.] My parents were pretty strict...we didn't talk a lot and when I started getting busier and traveling a lot we hardly spoke at all. But I don't think there's anything wrong with breaking away early.

Probably, huh? Gods are supposed to be these all powerful beings but I was still going to school before I was chosen. We're almost the same age. Maybe a few months apart? But I don't know if age matters now that I'm a god.

I don't really know. Maybe? I still like all of the same things I liked in my mortal life and I don't think I've earned much besides some wisdom and power.
