Yeah. He was technically family but likewise we never really spoke. Guy's kind of a jerk just like the rest of them.

[A beat.] If you're asking if he was "my" Apollo, the answer's still yes.

Nope. Didn't speak to him before then, I'm not even sure he really looked at this wing. If anything, he might've assumed I was somebody else.

I can't say I'll miss him, but saying that to anybody around here will make people think I'm a monster. [Oh well.] ...I've got other goals in mind, and it's one step closer. That's all.

...thanks. [He weirdly genuinely means that.] I'll see what I can do in the next week, but it's anybody's game still.

The numbers are still pretty even, even with the amount of people who are close to hitting zero...

[ and two weeks doesn't seem like long but. it kind of is in a game like this. ]

Yeah. It's why the competition exists. It makes people really think about what they want and what they really believe in instead of aligning with whoever they think sounds the nicest. And until people start playing the game the right way like that, this is how it's gonna go.

...yeah, some of you. [There's a tentative grin in his voice.] It's been easier to explain some things now that people are actually asking questions instead of just assuming I'm an asshole.

[Which like. He's aware he's an asshole, it's fine.] Hard to say who people are going to, but I've had a few people come to me recently.
