We weren't able to save them. Two of our friends... they were healers, they tried, but it wasn't enough. I... I lost my temper a little. I told him that he wasn't a god, that he wasn't a protector... he was just evil.

...and then it was like... there was a voice coming from somewhere inside of me, asking if I thought I could do it better. I said yes.

The next thing I knew... I was here. ...I don't know exactly what happened to their parents, in the end, but their injuries were so severe, and our healers were out of Psynergy... I don't know that they could have done anything except for... die.
I do think you're doing better. This competition is... I won't say it's good, but some good things have come from it. And you wouldn't trick us like that.
