Let's not move too hasty. I'm all for getting things done quick, but I think if we see how alive she still is in another week will be a pretty good indicator of the state of things. It's tempting, real tempting, to capitalize on that right away, but if someone else does the dirty work for us and our name continues to stay clean? Hey, even better for us. Let someone else risk taking the fall for it. Meanwhile, we keep gathering ranks.

Though, I do wonder: you and your colleagues should have provisions for the death of a vulnerable god, shouldn't you? What happens when there is no god to call for payment?
I'm sure that there will be some sort of action. I doubt that every god is levelheaded, and we know already that not every follower will consult with their deity, or be able to pass up the opportunity to advance their wish more quickly.

It's true that we can leave it up to others for the moment. But if Fortune is killed through whatever means, the game will change, as will the stakes.
Gods, I'm sure, will work harder to hold on to their followers. Those who love the peace will cling harder to their gods and each other. It's something to prepare for.
