[Nothing particularly notable outside! But on the inside...
The entry chamber into the tower is sparse - the center of the room is a stone walkway. Four statues stand on pedestals in the corners of the room, the pedestals rising up from the gloom.
There is another door set along the far wall, opening further into the tower.]
The next room is also pretty empty. (It's empty of dead scholars too, thank god.) But across a gap on the right side of the room, there's a locked chest and a set of stairs.
Anyway, since the coast is clear, Luna's going to fly-hop over that gap and investigate the chest. What's up with that lock? Is there any way to pry or jimmy it open or are we on a keyquest now.]
[the staircase leads upwards... to an empty room a few stories up. it's definitely not high enough to be anywhere near the top of the tower, but the room itself is devoid of furnishings or even statues, and the walls are bare.
[Hmmm. Time to fly around the room and tap at the walls and ceiling with her beak. If she can't find anything unusual that way she'll land and start investigating the floor. What do her eagle eyes see...?]
[her eagle eyes see a pretty normal looking floor, once she moves on from the walls and ceiling. there doesn't seem to be much of note in this room.
...
well, not at first. whenever she starts to head back for the stairs, an apparition appears out of the gloom, raising its arms. a sharp-looking shard of ice materializes above its hands before launching right at luna! yikes.]
[The icicle hits the floor where she had just been moments before.
Veeeeeeery slowly, the apparition turns toward Luna, taking aim again. It shuffles further into the room, leaving an opening for her to fly back down the stairs if she chooses to take it.
[Hmm. It is quite slow, and she has the advantage of mobility. She's going to -- fly forward and then release the big ol' chest in her talons to try and knock the floating thing over.
If that doesn't work, she's already in motion to duck past it and get the hell out of here. She chooses both fight and flight, let's go.]
[Time to chug it so she doesn't have to carry it--
OK no, she does't do that, sadly. Is the bottle transparent? What color is the liquid......
Either way, she'll pick it up very gently in her beak (assuming that goes) and then look around to see if anything has changed in the room before she retrieves the Chest o' War.]

If there's nothing else here save for lobby stuff, she'll move towards the farther door.]

but it rattles around a bit when she jimmies it - it's not stuck to the round. she could probably carry it in her talons if she wanted to!]

Fight or flight, Luna?]

She kind of wants her chest back, too.]

but here's a question for the ages: that bottle is fragile. how will she carry both the chest and the bottle?]

What's in it? What is it for? There are so many questions.]

It's made of glass, so don't bite down too hard with your beak, Luna!
The rest of the room has not changed. She will be free to carry her spoils of war away.]
