[Hm. Even with permission, he does hesitate slightly before speaking up. Expressing his discontent with the current situation feels a lot like expressing his discontent around Amanda, which is, uh. Bad.]
I am... concerned... about the mechanics behind these trials. While I'm confident that we will be able to identify any future murderers, I'm less certain about our ability to correctly guess who they've aligned themselves with. [...] I foresee that we will harm those who are innocent with this system.
Piety was the one who suggested it--that we should let mortals decide who would be the best ruler. I thought it was a good idea, but it got misinterpreted, and then somehow it got turned into a competition. Everything got out of control, and that's what always happens.
Not something like this exactly. Just that everybody's always fighting about everything, so no decisions are ever made. The ones of us that try to keep things in order aren't as strong, so we all end up in unhappy stalemates.
[i, kyuu, honestly can't tell if you mean literal babies and at this point i'm too scared to find out.]
... If I may ask, which of the gods do you consider to be the strongest? Are they the same ones who chose to transform Piety's idea into the competition we're participating in now?
I guess...it depends on what you mean about strong. Cunning is really, really strong, and a little scary sometimes, but Ruin is even more scary than he is.
The...the most sway? P...probably Piety. People don't like saying no to him, because he's so nice, and he's really insightful, too. At least, when anyone listens to him. Ruin's definitely the most intimidating...

[Justice shakes their head, their hands balling into fists.]
It wasn't my decision for the contest to be played this way, but I don't think there's any way to chance the rules now that we started. I'm sorry.

[The fact that it can't be stopped now that someone got the ball rolling isn't good, but...]
Julius Kresnik said this competition was originally meant to be a harmless survey. Is that true?

[Justice bobbles their head in affirmation.]

Which of the gods has the most sway, even when you don't necessarily all agree on one topic? Or which one is most capable of intimidating the others?
