What was the reason behind the majority voting for this sort of competition? And furthermore, the reason for selecting this particular group to participate in it? It's as you've said, after all. Some among our numbers are lacking in... common sense, so to speak.

As for the people we picked to be here - it's more like you picked that you'd be here. We sent out a general call looking for people who wanted something badly enough to compete for it. All of you were the first forty-two people to answer it.

Right. I didn't like it. Like, hello? How is anyone supposed to respect a bunch of gods who couldn't even do something as simple as choose a leader without pulling a bunch of people in to decide for them? Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
