You could say that. I've been training my whole life, so it'd be pretty stupid if I let something like that kill me.

I understand you're all bound by your own set of rules, but... Is there anything you're allowed to say about the prophecy we received?

The prophecy's my own, so it's not exactly in the same line of rules as what you guys have to follow. With that...the one thing you've gotta remember is that even if it's not always 100% easy to interpret or accurate, it's always the truth. You just have to consider which angle you're coming from to understand it.

...that happens with prophecies. Who you see depends on a lot of factors, but it's usually somebody important to you for one reason or another. Someone who made you act.

Who was he?

No, not at all. My target was still within sight. It was more of an... unexpected detour than a clear violation of the parameters I was give.

That's not as bad though. If you can keep rolling even with detours that says a lot about you.

I was created to be adaptable. It's only natural that CyberLife would add such flexibility to my programming.

It does, but also you realize that kind of leads to its own issues? If people aren't working how're they making money to "pursue more pleasurable pursuits" or whatever? [...] You're about nine years into my future, I think.
