Lingering by the fountain, though he doesn't quite take a seat yet. Dealing with Ion is still awkward as heck.]
I apologize. I feel as if I've done nothing but contribute to your problems for the past two weeks. [SORRY FOR ACCIDENTALLY SENDING AN ANGRY 15-YEAR-OLD YOUR WAY...] Are you alright?
[Ion gives him a kind look but it sort of turns into a grimace as he looks down at his tea.]
I don't feel as if I've done anything particularly wrong...but it's hard not to feel discouraged when you try to talk to someone, and they repeatedly refuse to listen. I've only ever...acted in such a way as to try and improve the relationships of others.
[Between this and what happened with Guy, it definitely feels like he's caused a lot of trouble for him.]
Could you tell me your side of the story? I only know Senri's... and Ambition's interpretation of your conversation with him. [Snooping through a teenager's diary was, as it turns out, a mistake.] Perhaps I could help rectify the situation if I had more insight.
[Nodding, Ion turns the teacup around in his hands.]
When Senri came to me and told me about his plan to have a large number of players add themselves to my following, he also expressed that it was a hard decision for him, because there were others he wanted to win, such as Ambition. I have an alliance with Ambition, so I told him that if it helped, he shouldn't feel that they need to prevent her from winning--because she has changed more than most of you realize, and she's already agreed to give me a platform to mediate in the event of her victory.
[He tries to smile again, his lips turning up just slightly.]
It's probably for the best just to leave it as it is. He feels betrayed that I went to her at all, so if he thought I was talking about it anywhere else, I don't think he'd understand the kindness meant.
... If you believe that's for the best, I won't bring the subject up with him again. [Even if he doesn't like leaving things as they are.] But I'm still having difficulties understanding why you shared this information with Ambition. From what I could tell, she was very upset after learning about his plans.
WEEK 7
Thank you so much, Connor. This is just what I needed to lift my spirits!
[He says that and smiles but he looks exhausted.]
ME, ACCIDENTALLY SENDING THIS TAG TO THE OFFERINGS POST KANDKSNS
