[she's. been waiting for people to. actually ask her. so she just launches right in]
The kind of world I want is kind of right there in my name. It'll be a world where people get rewarded for identifying what they want and going for it. Like, where I come from, there are some people who just have things handed to them for no reason [she's one of them but don't tell her that] and they never do anything to earn it. And then there are people who try really hard and don't get anywhere! What's the point in that?
[she huffs]
As for leading, I'm really good at telling what needs to be done, but I can recognize that there might be some people who are better at doing them than me. So when I'm in charge, I'll work together with people, and delegate the things they can do well to them while taking charge of the things I know I can do.
[HM. Too bad this is before diarygate, so he's still somewhat wary of her. Still, he's good at being polite and giving credit where credit is due.]
That's a remarkably wise choice. Not many leaders know how to delegate to those whose skills surpass their own. [... Okay, that was slightly backhanded even if he sounds polite and earnest about it.] Have you thought about how you will collaborate with the other gods should you win the competition?
[that was backhanded enough that she, a queen of backhanded compliments, picks up on it. but she doesn't blow up at him, amazingly? she just clenches one hand in to a fist and counts to ten in her head before moving on.]
Yes, I have. [but she's not giving him deets because he gave her a backhanded compliment over the other deets she gave him :/ ]
We'll all sit down and I'll listen to what they want to do with the world. As long as they're not, like, asking for anything ridiculous and none of it contradicts each other, we'll figure out a way to make it work.
I'll put them in charge of things they'll be good at. Piety said he would help me with talking to them if I'm being too abrasive.
