Oh... no! Mine's somewhere else. But I thought it would be better if I came to you, instead of making you come to me.

[Fortune looks out at the other statues.]

We can go find somewhere else, if you'd like to be indoors.

Oh, no, it's okay. I was just curious. And - that's nice of you.

[She thinks for a moment, though, before realizing something.]

...Now that I think about it, it seems pretty obvious what your area is. I haven't been in there too often, though.

Well... feel free to come by and check it out whenever you've got time. A lot of the things in there are new to me, too, but they seemed like things you all would have fun trying.

[Fortune ... tried to make a fun room.]

What got you interested in all of that stuff?

[divus]

We didn't have anything like it where I was, before I ascended.

[Fortune giggles.]

But I heard about it from some of the other gods, and I decided I wanted to learn.

[requiemed]

That's pretty interesting. I thought you'd have been really interested in it before getting here.

[But, it begs the question...]

How'd you get the name Fortune, then?

Oh, I don't know. I guess I was just lucky.

[...

Would you tell me a little about yourself?

I'm not allowed to just say too much...

[stupid god rules]

But if you're the one who thinks up specific questions to ask, I'm more likely to be allowed to answer them.

Right. Let's see... What made you choose the followers that you wanted?

[divus]

You mean, after you all agreed to come here?

[requiemed]

Yeah. Like, each person had three gods make an offer, right? How’d you decide which people got an offer from you?

[divus]

We had to try and make it so everyone had about an equal chance of getting the same number of followers to start with. [it would have been entirely possible for everyone to be within 1 follower of each other...] We said who we wanted first, and if it worked out, we got to make an offer to them. If too many of us wanted the same person, we had to decide who would back off.

[requiemed]

Right. I guess I meant... What drew you to the people that you yourself picked?

Oh! In my case...

[Fortune takes a moment to consider how best to phrase it.]

I picked people that I thought would be interested in making their own luck... or who could use a little luck. Or -

[...hmm.]

...or who I thought I should keep a close eye on.

[requiemed]

[It's that last part that catches her attention, and so she inquires:]

Like... Who you thought might be dangerous?
