[Cunning can be found in the sword-fighting arena today, laying on his back in the center and staring up at the sky. When Zoe enters, he turns his head to regard her curiously.]

Can I ask, like... Any of that was?

That was the Big House...with a few modifications.

[There's a pause, as she crosses her arms, more uncomfortable than defensive.]

Why was Evan there?

[Ah. So that's who that was?]

The Oracle's...kinda cursed. It can show you things you want to see. Or things you fear. It's hit or miss. Call it accuracy.

So, what it told us was true?

[divus]

In a sense, yeah. The thing about Oracles is that what they say is always true...but the prophecy can have multiple meanings and isn't obvious right away. Frustrating, if you think about it.

So... Keep it in mind, but don’t obsess about it just yet?

Right. It'll drive you crazy if you overthink it and think there's only one solution, but don't write it off either.

...can't say why you saw Evan specifically, but that's my guess.

...I still have a thousand questions about, like, everything in there.

The real house isn't always like that. Like I said, I made some adjustments. [So ask away because Cunning won't say shit.] ...the Oracle was up there for a long time though.

Okay... Which adjustments did you make, and were they specifically for us?

[divus]

The wine spilling from the vines was mine, the Labyrinth was mine because the entrance to that isn't in the house, it's in the woods, the javelins were mine...pretty much everything else was the same. Oh, the door was mine. Everything else was pretty much the same though based on what I remember and what people told me.

And it was for whoever got brave enough to try breaking in. Could've been you, could've been somebody else.

I mean this in the kindest way possible, but you know we could've died three separate times, right?

Yeah. It could've been more, actually, but you guys worked together surprisingly well. Color me impressed.

...What was the upper limit of near death experiences here?

I might regret this, but yes.

Probably about double that. Depends what other paths you would've hit in the Labyrinth or if you touched anything poisonous.

What exactly was on the other paths?

Now what's the fun in telling you all of the secrets? ...they were just memories. What else are these wings at this point?
