It's not untrue, exactly, but I've spoken to more than one other person now who gave me his version of events...since I'm finding out that he's been happily passing on our encounter to anyone who will listen. He exaggerated certain parts and blatantly lied about others, claiming that I threatened his life when in actuality, nothing of the sort happened. And I did lose my temper, but not nearly so extremely, and only after he'd subjected me to an undo amount of mockery.
