It's different. I can give you props for that. [It's. Almost appreciated? Sure.] I can appreciate something that isn't absolutely useless, too. Not much of a plant or medicine guy myself, never got around to learning, but given you're working off-hand I can acknowledge that.

I've been considering the potential benefits of switching alignments. After the initial proposal made to me and seeing my options, I thought I should meet you before making any final decisions.

A smart decision. Finally decided to take a look at better options? Lemme ask you something. What made you choose Fortune in the first place?

I unfortunately jumped to the conclusion that the reward would have to suit whichever god won. All I'm really missing is surety when it comes to what I want. At least it's a mistake I'm able to amend.

The first step to a game like this is admitting you messed up. You're already a step ahead of most people here. Your goals still the same since you first stepped into this game? Or have your priorities changed yet? That happens with mortals.

Of course they are. I'm going to finish getting what's rightfully mine. And considering the only reason I need to finish was the unseeable, I'd like to eliminate that factor as much as possible while still accomplishing all I set out to do.

[Translation: Not!god kept him from becoming all powerful 30 years ago so he's probably after the last bits of that limitless power and endless life while also personally sticking it to Not!god for getting in his way.]

[Well, right now he's just brain power. He's borderline immortal normally. And this is another thing canon hasn't given me specific details on...]

Oh no, I won't have to change the past. It's just going to take more work than I initially intended.

Alright then. Convince me. How're you gonna do that? It isn't just about picking the right god, you have to have a plan for what you're doing with our abilities and working with us. So? What is it?

For one, it involves discretion where necessary. [Smile. Yeah, he's not telling you. Because he does have a plan but his stupid player hasn't figured out what that is yet.]

That is why I'm taking this time to evaluate your lot and what you really have to offer.
