[When Alex arrives in the fortune-teller's den, he'll find Fortune waiting for him, a hand on their hip.]

Really? You're going to use the power I gave you before you even speak to me?

[He's looking down a god, this is perfect...

Okay actually he'll only show the mildest surprise at the questions.]

Oh? It seemed the most worthwhile to make use of that power as early as possible. I do apologize if I've offended you.

WEEK 1, SUNDAY

[Alex finds Fortune in the fortune-teller's den again, though this time, the god is waiting for him by the entrance.]

You wanted to talk?

[psynergy]

[You know, I just noticed the picture and figured out what it's doing there...

Alex isn't particularly surprised. The only difference this time was he had to reach out first.]

It seemed an opportune time to do so, yes. There's only so much left of this week, after all. I certainly didn't want to use your power again without consulting you first.

[See, he remembers.]

WEEK 2

[Where is Alex? Well - wherever he happens to be, he'll see a flash of gold out of the corner of his eye, and Ambition walks toward him, their arms crossed.]

Alex, right? I've got something to say that you're going to want to hear.

[psynergy]

[That's anyone's guess, at least the odds of him being alone are very good.]

You were...Ambition, as I recall? [He paid attention when he was not selecting you!] And what might that be?

WEEK 2

[Alex will find Ruin in the kitchen, pouring two glasses of the juice.]

There you are. So... you wanted to talk? ♡

[psynergy]

[Hope they're both for you, he wouldn't have sent it if he'd wanted any.]

Indeed. It seems I've been remiss in seeking out the fullest possibilities of this "contest". I should like to amend that error.

[Also he's been curious since he found out about Ruin competing to remake something.]

WEEK 2, SATURDAY

[In the armory, Alex will find a tall figure who has the plant parts in a bowl and seems to be poking at them.]

I hate to tell you this, man, but I have no idea what to do with these. [But it was a weird enough offering that they took it to see what Alex has to say.]

[psynergy]

[He wanted an unnoticeable way to prove his cunning, unfortunately he can't organize a huge world-shifting event here so that will have to do.]

It's just a basic medicinal mixture. [MAYBE...?] It's useful for settling stomachs, for example. I'll admit it's not much, but I didn't think something entirely useless would do in this case.

WEEK 3

[surprise, this time she just appears in the altar room after he leaves, and pokes her head through the door way to call him back.]

I'm over here, Alex.

[psynergy]

[Good, he needs a taste of "wrong" every now and again. He stops, then casually turns around and silently makes his way back in.

I'm sure you really missed this smug smirk. Which is so what you need right now.]

You know, I honestly never believed that "Child of the Gods" title was accurate, but maybe I should rethink that?

WEEK 3

[Well, this is surprising.

Sincerity is leaning against the wall when Alex enters the costume hall. They hold up the bottle of water and fix him with what is probably an inquisitive look, but it's hard to tell with the mask.]

Is this your way of telling me to hydrate?

[psynergy]

[At least he doesn't have that problem with his mask. Who knows, maybe another one has shown up in here...]

No, although that's good advice in general.

WEEK 3, FRIDAY

[divus]

[In the dance studio, Alex will find Love leaning against one of the walls seemingly waiting for him. They don't seem to move much, waiting to see where he's going to go first.]

Alex, right?

[psynergy]

[So...not the courtyard? Whatever, it's Alex, he just shows up in the right place.

Alex stops not far beyond the doorway. He gives a small nod.]

Correct. And you must be Love.

WEEK 3, FRIDAY

[divus]

[When Alex enters the parlor on Friday, he'll find there are two chairs set around a table. The table contains two cups of tea and a teapot, plus a small tray of snacks. The crystal is in Beauty's hand and they appear to be considering it.]

Alex-kun, welcome. What is this?

[psynergy]

[Alex takes a seat, though he doesn't make a move toward any of the refreshments just yet.] A Psynergy Stone. Useless here, of course, but they're certainly wonderful objects in my world... [And I used one earlier this week for this thanks to the West Wing being a reproduction of his world, so...]

WEEK 3

[divus]

[Not long at all after leaving his offering - maybe less than 10 minutes - Alex will find Ambition appearing wherever he happens to be. She seems surprisingly calm, given her outburst earlier.]

You wanted to talk?

[psynergy]

That's right. Given the variety of circumstances and the fact that I have yet to use my power, I thought it would be prudent to consult with you.

[He's not having a repeat of Fortune. Even though he 100% gets why that happened now. Sheba..... :|]

WEEK 3, SUNDAY

[divus]

[When Alex enters the room with the Pool, Indulgence is leaning with one arm against the railing to the water slide, offering donut being spun around one finger in his other.]

I gotta ask--did you just grab the first relatively tasty looking thing you found?

[psynergy]

[Yay, water! Alex likes water.]

I gave it due consideration, actually. Baked confections such as those are often no more than treats nutritionally.

WEEK 4

[well. here they are in the beauty salon. ambition, filing her nails, gestures for Alex to take a seat at the table across from her.]

Well? Have you come up with any ideas for how you're going to use your power this week?

[psynergy]

[If only he needed your silly salon, ha ha ha~ He does sit though.]

Not much that seems like it would be of any use now, unfortunately. Seeing as this is my last chance to speak with you before I'm violating a rule though, I felt this was necessary.

WEEK 5

[divus]

[It's meeting time.

Ambition is waiting for him in the beauty parlor, probably while people are still freaking out in the courtyard.]

Well? What do you want today?

[psynergy]

[Probably. Funnily enough another reason now has precedence to him.]

First of all, you wouldn't be at liberty to explain these, would you?

[He shoves he arms forward to push back the sleeves of his robe, revealing some mild slashes and a light bruise on his right wrist.]

WEEK 6: BREAK-IN ATTEMPT

[The beauty salon is empty when Alex enters it - the perfect chance to explore a little on his own.

Beauty salon hair dryers look like torture devices but there sure are five of them lined up along the wall to his left when he enters the room. There are five spinny chairs in front of mirrors on the side of the room across from them, where an assortment of hair styling tools are spread out on a counter.

The wall opposite the entrance, meanwhile, has shelves built right into a wall with an array of nail polishes and a few tables for manicures and pedicures.

What will he look at first?]

[HE LOOKS AT HIS BEAUTIFUL SELF IN THE MIRROR

Okay, JRPG logic actually does have him go toward the mirrors because he wants to check that counter first. This totally looks like a puzzle set up, so he needs to find the hint.]

[She waits for him in the beauty salon again, clutching the scarf. When he enters -]

You went shopping?

[Indulgence, lounging on a chair in the parlor, beckons Alex over.]

[Piety, unsurprisingly, is easy to find within the West Wing. He approaches Alex with ease.]

Hey there, gorgeous. It's been a little while, hasn't it?

[Disorder's made herself comfortable on one of the couches in the hotel lobby, and she twirls his offering around a finger.]

This is so cute. I love getting jewelry from boys.

[Justice is in the lab, holding the offering to the light. Clearly, he also has no idea what the heck it is. But...seems to kind of like it?]

O-Oh, um, hi! Thanks for coming to see me!

WEEK 7, TUESDAY

[Merriment's found in the game room, seated on the billiard table with his legs dangling over the edge. There's a small plate for strawberry stems seeing how he's already enjoyed them, but as Alex enters he waves a hand.]
