It's better to work with people who are of a like mind, don't you think? You don't have to worry about silly disagreements over things like whether or not someone is disposable.

They can certainly be preferable to keep close, yes. I've found that just about anyone can be an ally with the proper incentive, however.

Well, the first thing is give hem fewer choices. If some of the other gods were to not be in the competition anymore, the rest of you would see it's better to work with someone who will stick around.
